3 - Excursion dans le désert du Sahara de Fès à Marrakech

Big thanks to Mahdi for coordinating our trip and driver Zakariae who picked us up from our Riad in Fes and drove us all the way to the desert and to our end destination in Marrakesh. It was a 3-day adventure trip with long car rides passing through different terrains, altitudes and landscapes but the entire journey was comfortable and smooth thanks to the high level of service shown by our driver Zakariae who was friendly, punctual, patient and helpful in ensuring that we enjoy the best of what Morocco has to offer. All the accomodation choices were good especially the sahara desert camp. We felt we were in good hands throughout the trip. Thank you for giving us that authentic Moroccan experience!

My husband and I recently got back from Morocco and we had an amazing time. We did the 3 day tour from Fez to Marrakech and enjoyed it alot. Big shoutout to Omar and Younes for being the most patient, thoughtful and awesome hosts taking us across Merzouga, Dades Valley and back to Marrakech. We were picked up in an SUV and the air conditioning and driving through the towns was amazing. We absolutely loved our stay in Merzouga and Younes was very helpful in telling us the different things we were seeing on the tour along the way. Dades was full of hospitality and beautiful scenery. Would highly recommend - thank you again Younes and Omar for such a fun trip!

We have just finished an amazing trip. Jamal was a fantastic driver/tour guide. He showed us how varied a country Morocco is - from snowy mountains to the Sahara desert. This tour company was reliable and well run Highly recommend this company. Ask for Jamal!!

Can't say enough great things about this tour and our guide / driver Walid. We booked a private tour, just my wife and I. Our tour was completely tailored to our wants and needs. Walid went out of his way to ensure our trip was relaxing, enjoyable and as informative as he could make it. At no time did we feel unsafe or unsure of anything. Walid ensured we saw THE MOST AMAZING parts of the trip, in the limited time we had. Our accommodations and food were excellent, especially in the desert. Walid ensured we got great snacks and beverages, and our vehicle was very clean and comfortable. After spending 4 amazing days together we left Morocco completely satisfied, educated and with a friend for life - Walid.

This was our first visit to Morocco and thanks to Authentic Sahara Tour and our guide Jamal it was wonderful and unforgettable. Our tour with Jamal was very eventful, we managed to visit the desert and mountains, several interesting cities, markets with local products, and other interesting attractions. The organization of the trip was great: the manager and Jamal were constantly in touch and answered all my requests, the route was built very professionally, hotels, food, car — everything was great. We had a fantastic experience!

We had an Amazing 5 days Sahara Desert Trip from Fes to Marrakesh! Thanks to our guide Hakim and everyone else along the trip, we had the chance to learn and discover the beauty of Morocco's many sceneries and histories. From the middle to the high Atlas passing through Merzouga Desert, the Dades Canyons, etc. I strongly recommend AST agency, providing comfortable Riads, great meals and activities all the way. It was the highlight of our trip to Morocco. Everything 1st class. Walid our driver was a pleasure to be with and an excellent and informative driver.

Absolutely amazing experience!! Jamal, our driver, was a star. He’s a great driver, a great guide and simply good company. The two places we stayed were great. Pueblo Touareg was definitely the nicest night of the trip and the hotel Dar Blues in Dadis valley was very nice too. Communication prior to the trip, with Lahcem, was impeccable too. I have to say that the tour is quite pricey, and there might be other cheaper tours that offer similar quality, but I wouldn’t know. We decided to pay more to have a guaranteed great experience and that’s what we got, so no complaints! Thanks for everything Jamal and Lahcem!

We had the most wonderful, unforgettable experience during this 3 day tour thanks to our guide Walid who was always professional, knowledgeable and funny. The Sahara Desert was even more magical than I had imagined. Watching the desert sunset while riding a camel and stargazing at night were truly unforgettable experiences. The desert camp (Pueblo Touareg) was very luxurious and private, and I was absolutely blown away by the food prepared by chef Salem who has many years of international experience as a chef in various cuisines. The food at the camp was much better than many fine dining restaurants I’ve been to in Canada. We learned so much about the Amazigh (Berber) culture through Salem who even introduced us to some of the nomad Amazigh families in the black desert. The desert was definitely the highlight but the stops along the way included so many pleasant surprises such as seeing monkeys in the forest, walking through the beautiful Todgha Gorge, scenic drive along the famous zigzag road at Dades Valley, a tour of Aït Benhaddou (UNESCO world heritage site) with a local guide, and many more. Walid made sure everything went smoothly throughout the tour and always made us feel very comfortable. We also appreciated the flexibility of stopping whenever we needed to use an ATM or washroom especially during some of the longer car rides, and we never felt pushed to do anything we didn’t want to do. He even offered to take many photos for us throughout the trip. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone planning on visiting Morocco and I can guarantee you will have an amazing time with Walid!!
