3 Days Multi-day Tour at Marrakech Desert

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Morocco Private Holiday. We traveled from Marrakech to Ouarzazate and Merzouga and loved every moment. Our driver Ryad was professional, knowledgeable, and very flexible, always taking great care of us. The Merzouga desert experience and the tent were incredible. We truly appreciate everything and highly recommend this company.

Thanks to Riyadh we had a wonderful holiday in Morocco, where we leave the heart with the hope of returning soon. We requested a tour from Casablanca to Marrakech, passing through Fez and the desert and many other places in just 4 days. Thanks to our fantastic driver we were able to do these 1,500 km enjoying the landscapes and exquisite Moroccan cuisine. At our request in fact, Riyadh took us to traditional and non-tourist places, clean and with friendly and helpful staff, where we ate together the typical local cuisine. Also the van was very comfortable and spacious for 4 passengers like us. Absolutely recommended!

Ryad was a fantastic driver / tour guide for our 11 day trip covering more than 2,400 km in Morocco. He is a very pleasant and well-spoken gentleman and we had a wonderful time with him. My husband and I recently took a 3-day desert tour from Marrakech with Morocco Private Holiday, and the experience was just incredible. From the moment we left, we were impressed by the professionalism and knowledge of our driver, who made the journey both informative and enjoyable. The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly our stay in the desert of Merzouga. Sleeping in a luxurious tent under the starry sky was a magical experience. The night view was breathtakingly beautiful, something we will remember forever. We are already planning to return next year to relive this incredible adventure. Ryad Mekouki (Morocco Private Holiday) was our driver for our 15 day tour of Morocco. He was the key ingredient that made the holiday stress free and a fantastic experience. Ryad was a safe driver, a teacher, diplomat, advisor and porter. In addition, he had a great sense of humour which made travelling all the more enjoyable. He is punctual, respectful and professional in every way. Alas, he was singularly unsuccessful in improving our pronunciation of the language. We were also fortunate enough to meet Ryad's family who came down from Casablanca to Essaouira during our tour to surprise him for his birthday. Hope we may get back to Morocco and renew our acquaintance, or see you in Australia!

I have traveled all over the world for more than 30 years now and I have to say I have never had as good an experience as I did with Ryad Mekouki and Morocco Private Holiday. I have had some outstanding drivers and some outstanding guides in many different countries, but Ryad is the best of both - an exceptionally experienced driver who knows his way around all of the cities, towns, countryside of Morocco and an extremely knowledgable "guide" who knows as much as the guides who will do your half day and day trips with you. In fact, Ryad is responsible for arranging your guides, and he knows who is good and who to work with. He is well versed in the politics, history, culture, photographic hot spots, restaurants, shopping...you name it and he knows all about it! And I should mention that Ryad speaks English perfectly well, along with Italian, French, Arabic, Berber and some Spanish. He is personable, courteous, professional, completely focused on his guests' experience, and very dependable. Can't recommend him highly enough! I will certainly look to travel with Ryad again next time I head back to Morocco. We spent almost two weeks touring much of the country just after Christmas. Tangier, Chefchaouen, Volubilis, Fes, Erfoud, Sahara Desert, Ouarzazate, Marrakech, and Casablanca was the routing and I was pleased with the itinerary as well. Driving is a great way to see more of the country. We would have missed too much flying around.

Over a two week period, we had our first visit with friends to Morocco exploring the country with driver Ryad Mekouki. It was a fabulous experience in every respect. Ryad is an excellent driver who is extremely knowledgeable about every region of the country, including cultural traditions, ancient and recent history, and what to buy and where to buy! His English is excellent. He looked after every detail of the trip and made sure we had the best guides at each location. His recommendations about restaurants were excellent. He is a charming individual and a pleasure to be with. As a result of his efforts, our trip was a huge success.

We have just spent the last two weeks on our first visit to Morocco with our long time friends on a tour we arranged through Experience It Morocco. How very luck we were to have Ryad Mekouki (Morocco Private Holiday) as our driver! He was friendly, polite, patient, genuine, and respectful. We expected that. What we got was so much more. The breadth of his knowledge and his eagerness to make our trip as pleasurable as possible continued to amaze us! There were few questions he did not know the answer to. He suggested places to eat ( the best trout we have ever eaten!) and places to shop, guided us to hidden gems, advised us, and helped to make our trip one of the best experiences in travel we have ever had.
