I could not recommend this tour more highly! We had a brilliant experience in the mountains for three days with our tour guide Rai. None of us had ridden a horse before and it wasn’t an issue at all, and Rai was always on hand to help us out or give interesting information about Kyrgyz culture. Best part of our trip no doubt
It was nice to see the beautiful weather, and the succulent rice was delicious, and we didn't have electricity for two days.

I went on this trip with a few friends, and I can’t recommend it enough!! The horses were smart and steady, the yurt camps were in lovely, scenic locations with great beds, bathrooms, etc. A highlight was the food - there was always plenty of delicious food, soups, lagman, bread, fruits, jams, sweets, and more. Rai was a fantastic guide, and he gave us the best experience! The horse master carried all of our bags for us and kept us all on track. If you are thinking of going on a horse trek, this one is the one you want.

Three friends and I all went on this together, we had literally the best time - the landscape was so unbelievably gorgeous, the horses were lovely and healthy and our guide (shout out Rai, you were the best) and the HorseMaster were wonderful and very accommodating. The food each night was also unbelievably delicious and the yurts were very comfortable to sleep in. They also arranged transport for us to and from Bishkek.

We did the 3 day horse riding tour to song kul lake in April and we experienced snow, a storm, and sun all in one trip. We were able to have a private tour with just us and an English speaking guide, although we did meet other groups at the yurt stay and enjoyed hearing about their travels. The horses were lovely and very easy to ride, they know what they are doing and made the journey easier than expected (although we did have sore bums after!). Our guide was great at helping with anything we asked and made sure that we were always comfortable. Food was fantastic too! Would recommend if visiting Kazakhstan! :)

I did the 3 day Issyk Kul Tour with Askat and his wife Aizada. Let me say one thing first: They are amazing people! I felt like a little family together with them hence also being a female Solo Traveler. They organized everything from pick up to all tours. I saw the ancient eagle hunting demonstration, several canyons, Issyk Kul, Horse Back riding and even had a spontaneous visit to the hot thermal bath. The food was delicious, the yurt and homestay was perfect. I can really recommend this trip. It had its own special beauty because it was winter and the landscapes looked magical. The scenery was beautiful and there were lots of animals grazing along the way. My guide spoke great English and was very knowledgeable, thoughtful and helpful throughout the tour - I learnt a lot about Kyrgyzstan culture from him. The yurts were cozy and a unique experience. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to experience the nature of Kyrgyzstan.
