You have to bron rain clothrs and gods shows than you are all set. The food and the guides an the Lodge are such a good experience. I loved the stay so much.
Came here for two nights to finish our 3 week tour of Peru. Didn't really know what to expect and some of the reviews were great but some not so good? We had a fantastic time and only complaint I would have was on our last night the staff had a big party and with our cabana near to where the staff quarters were, found it very noisy. Service and food was amazing especially we found the lunch menu better than the evening one. Afternoon tea if you could fit it in at the meeting room. If you had a really early breakfast before a tour then the choice was ok but if you had a later breakfast then there was a menu and it was better. Dining and public area was beautiful with classical and other "cafe del mar" type music being played was fabulous too. Our cabana was lovely with both hammocks at the front of it, which I tried and really felt quite comfortable in! I was concerned that because we were only there for really a day and a half that we would not be able to get to do the trips that were on offer and included in the price. On arrival we were met with cold face flannel and cold drink and a talk on where things were etc. Then it was a late lunch that they were prepared for us. Then meeting to fit in what we could manage to do whilst at the Lodge. We went on the Twilight River trip after our meeting. Bit eerie out on the river in the dark but the guide had large light at the front of the boat and pointed out the caiman with its beady eyes peeping up from the water, and other beasties. Then went to dinner. Could not wait to get into the 4 poster bed with the anti mosquito muslin pulled down for us. Great sleep then up real early next morning for our Amazon Rain Forest Trail and canoe to Lake Sandoval. Back for lunch, then next trip was the Treeline Canopy Walk. Fantastic though a bit scary! Then later on the Rainforest by Night Trip which was scary with tarantulas etc etc but very interesting. Then back for dinner and away early the next morning. So to get in those 4 tours in only 1 1/2 days I thought was really good and what I wanted to do in our time there. If we had stayed longer we would have bought other trips but it was our time to leave. It was a fantastic end to our trip and would recommend this lodge, it was quite "high end" and loved it all. Thanks for reading.
Views of the jungles, the river, wildlife and birds was amazing. Guide from Tambopats was great. Great experience
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!! Inkaterra has this down to a science -- everything on our 3d/2n stay was well thought out and perfectly planned from the airport pickup/dropoffs to mealtimes and excursions. The staff were all so friendly and fun to get to know -- whether bartenders, servers, or guides, they all made efforts to get to know us and this was SUCH a great part of our stay. Everyone was fabulous. The excursions were all informative and TONS of fun. THe schedule was well balanced with built-in downtime at the resort. The spa was gorgeous and well worth it! Food and drinks were also great -- breakfast is a nice buffet spread, lunch is menu (same daily though plenty of options!) and dinner menu changes daily. Alejandro, Denis, and Rafael were some of our favorites from dining; Janet was a wonderful guide! Wish we could have stayed longer.
This was a fun 1.5 day tour, not 3 days! Tours start at 3pm on the day of arrival, the next day is a full day and then i was out on the 7.45 boat out the next morning - this was disappointing for sure, but I still had a great time in nature. I had Gus as my guide who was wonderful. Such fun, such a great human. He took me trail running in the jungle the 2 morning I was there, and was so knowledgable about the jungle. I wish I had more time, the property is beautiful, the good is very good, the staff are lovely - and there is lots to see. A few people had issues with the local burning, making the air quite smokey, but i guess thats normal. My only issue was thinking i would have more time there and be able to see more bugs and animals. Many wonderful birds, loads of cool trees and plants to see and lots to learn.

This is an amazing place stay, wonderful food, private villa with excursions and did a private fishing adventure catching piranha which included the chef and guide fishing out on the river and prepared your catch with all fresh fruit at a small village.

Fabulous stay could not get any closer to nature. Reserva Amazonica apart from being located to close to the amazonian jungle also produces its own electricity, food and resources. The food is smazing, service par excellence, space absolutely gorgeous and the tours were everything we wanted!

loved inkaterra, the people, cabana, food, and tours, had a lot of fun learning about the amazon and exploring all the fauna and flora in the area.

Amazing tour, excided our expectations! My husband and I already thinking to go back. Inkaterra lodgers were amazing, better then any 5* hotel in London and staff couldn't be more helpful. Wish we could stay there longer then just 2 nights so we could go piranhas fishing and enjoy the surroundings.
