2 - Journée : Visite du cratère du mont Bromo et Kawah Ijen au départ de Surabaya et Malang

We are just back from a 2 days wonderful experience. We were able to customise the pick-up in Surabaya train station and drop-off at Ketapang port, so that we were able to continue our journey from Java to Bali. Both Bromo and Ijen have been great, everything has been taken care of to the detail, meeting our need, including a few hours rest in a very nice hotel (looking more like a resort) in Bondowoso. We are very grateful to our guides Yusuf, who followed us all the way, and Tio, who joined us at Ijen: they helped us shaping incredible memories that will stay with us forever. I can but recommend IDN Trip Experiences to everyone interested in living the best this incredible country has to offer, at a very reasonable price

Did a 2 day trip covering Bromo and Ijen. Both had gorgeous views, although Ijen was more satisfying for us with its beautiful blue lake, pink and purple sky and sunrise behind one’s back. Both are very doable if one has moderate fitness, with Bromo achievable even if one is less fit. The physically hard part is the 1 am start for both days so consider staying as close to each location as possible. Be prepared for the crowds - Instagrammers abound - including during the rocky path ascent and descent at Ijen which can get dangerous. Patience and calm is much needed, particularly during the long waits at Bromo before going to the sunrise point and also while descending — jeep traffic literally stopped for 90 min for us. Consider bringing a hot drink up to Ijen, it really hits the spot while enjoying the view in the cool weather. Ifa, our guide for the two days was always upbeat and made sure we were well-fed, Yudi, our local guide on Ijen was knowledgeable having been a miner before and Isa, our driver, despite the long drives was always alert and friendly. Would definitely recommend this crew!

Qowin was a very nice guide. We booked a private tour to Bromo and Ijen from Surabaya. The timing at the stops was good and we had a feeling we were in good hands. Although the time in de car is sometimes long, the views on the road are amazing. We would certainly recommend this tour company, and especcially Qowin!

We chose the bromine mountain and Jien mountain option. Everything was perfect, our guide Nadal was always very kind to us and met all our needs. Same for driver Ricky, impeccable. The ascent to Mount Jien is challenging and the path sometimes exposed, once you reach the top you descend to see the Blue Fire, lasts 3 hours the ride, you definitely need training and proper hiking shoes. The Blue Fire pays off, if you are in Indonesia it deserves to be seen

Beautiful sunrise! Guide was very nice with clear communication! We had some struggles with the car but this was fixed immediately and respectfully. So recommendable!

Due to the earthquake alert, we couldn't do the Ijen part. But still the organisation had an alternative, the Tumpak Waterfall. Alltough there wasn't enough information about it at the site and during the booking, our guide Nadal informed us very well during the tour. He took beautifull pictures of us as well and explained a lot. Due to sickness, we couldn't do the Waterfall Tour, but both the organisation as Nadal offered us to see a doctor or buy some medicin. The playlist of our driver Vandy was a total must. We can recommend this organisation for sure. Their respons was always very quick.

The first contact with IDN Trip Experiences via WhatsApp was very positive. A pick-up from the airport in Surabaya was organized very courteously and without much effort. The drop-off at the hotel in Surabaya also worked perfectly. The tour (here: 2D1N), with Mt. Bromo sunrise, Madakaripura waterfall and Ijen, was very well planned. The best example of this: I arrived early at Mt. Ijen and was the first to marvel at the Blue Fire. 10 minutes later the place was full of tourists. The hotel provided for the overnight stay met high standards. Breakfast with tea/coffee and water for the whole day was provided. My guide Rai and our driver Fahru were very friendly and courteous. Fahru bridged the longer journeys with good music and drove while I could rest. My guide Rai was very keen to create the best possible experience. Time management and spots away from the tourist crowds contributed a lot to this. His excellent knowledge of English contributed to a relaxed atmosphere in which people enjoyed chatting. Rai also had no lack of local knowledge and told many stories about the places we visited. All in all, I would definitely recommend this tour.

The trip was awesome, and our guide Afif was really great! Afif is one of the best guides I've ever had. He made sure we were safe and arranged everything to make our trip easy and comfortable. I can say for sure that this trip changed my life, and I highly recommend Afif as a guide.
