Too bad

Disappointed. We booked 2 hours of buggy. You have to arrive 1/2 hour before for the briefing. We left 3/4 of an hour after the scheduled time. It’s long. Lots of road and little trail. We returned by the same route as the way there. The instructor did not speak to us, no explanation about the stop location (Ermita de las Nieves). He only spoke to the couple who bought an additional €20 package for photos. We even made a stop to refuel the vehicles. Too bad, we are left with a bitter taste when a little communication simply makes you discover the region.

One of the best thrill-seeking activities on the island!

2 adults, 2 teens in one buggy. What a day! Had so much fun, saw some amazing sights. Went through some REALLY rough terrain, along some mountain roads with steep drops. Had a stop halfway for a breather. Make sure you wear old clothes and footwear - you will get very dusty. Also, if tempted to just wear short and t-shirt, be sure to protect yourself from the sun. Doesn't feel like it when travelling, but you'll end up red raw! Would definitely recommend this, and will even do it again!

Disappointing.

Disappointing experience! We drove the buggy on main roads at high speed in busy traffic for 30+ minutes. It felt quite unsafe. Stopped for a walk to volcano. Our tour guide was nice & gave us some information. That took approx. 20 minutes. Back into buggy for a another high speed drive to a rock face structure which was enjoyable and well explained by our guide. This was another 10-15mins here and then back into the buggy for a short off road experience, followed by another high speed drive back to base. A slower drive on parts of the main roads would have been appreciated so we could take in our surroundings. As we were the 5th buggy at the very back it felt like we're constantly chasing to keep up because inevitably cars are going to get between us and the other buggies at roundabouts and junctions. Overall I wouldn't recommend. Not the fault of our guide, he was nice. Just the experience is poor unfortunately. I'm sorry we didn't do something else instead.

Very disappointing experience.

We participated in a buggy excursion that unfortunately went very badly. Halfway through, after arriving at a viewpoint, the guide suddenly made a U-turn on the spot and stopped at a very short distance from us at high speed. In a particularly abrupt tone, he asked me to stop driving immediately, without any warning or explanation, and insisted that my wife take over. The problem is that my wife does not have a driver's license. Despite this, the guide did not want to take it into account and forced her to continue driving until the end of the route. I would also like to point out that the buggy's tires were very worn, even though we were driving on gravel tracks. Under these conditions, the loss of traction during acceleration seems understandable to us, especially since it is an off-road vehicle designed for this type of terrain. With better maintained equipment, the buggy's performance would probably have been different. Upon our return, I shared these points with the establishment's manager, who did not question the situation, did not wish to hear our version of the facts, and offered no commercial gesture. We have just returned to the hotel and my wife injured her wrist following a violent steering wheel kickback while driving a vehicle she was not in control of. Before citing safety reasons, it would be essential to ensure that the equipment made available to customers is properly maintained and in good working order. What was supposed to be a pleasant activity turned into a very negative experience. We are leaving with a feeling of injustice, insecurity, and a very bad memory. We do not recommend this activity at H2O Lanzarote. ⸻ We took part in a buggy excursion that unfortunately turned into a very disappointing experience. Great activity for family or friends

I would highly recommend this activity while visiting Lanzarote. It’s a great experience and is a great way to explore the island with your family or friends. The tour guide that we had was amazing. You can pay an extra €25 for a photo package and it’s 100% worth it!

Disappointing

So, the buggy experience itself was great, but we were disappointed with the tour for several reasons: . We did not make a loop, but rather the same route back and forth, . There were not really any stops to see or indicate the sites and places we passed by. As a result, we do not really know what we saw; we just stopped in a valley with terraces to change drivers, but even there, without any explanation. . We traveled a lot on paved roads, which is a shame with a buggy, I think. . We did not go all the way to Famara (which we had not done during the week in anticipation of the buggy tour), . The tour lasted less than 2 hours, even with the 10 minutes spent at the gas station refueling the buggies on the way back.

Great buggy Tour

Very well organised tour. Lots of communication prior to the tour and picked up from our ferry terminal and dropped back. The guide was knowledgeable and the buggies were great fun. Well recommended. Lots of off road tracks to the top of a mountain.
