2 - Excursion d'une journée : Mt Bromo Sunrise & Tumpak Sewu au départ de Malang & Surabaya

We had a very good experience! It was a lovely trip. Trista was a very lovely guide, we had very good talks and she helped us get the best photo spot ar mount Bromo:). The taxi driver was nice as well. We felt very safe in during the drive. We really enjoyed our 2 day trip and had the best time ever.

This was an amazing trip and private only my friend Flavie, me and our guide Dede. We had so much fun and laugh together it was one of my favorite memories of my travelling ! I recommend you Dede, she is special, she makes sure we are always safe, answer quickly to the message, happy to help if there is a problem, you can communicate with her about any concerns she will reassure you for sure. The trip was in one word: fantastic! Prior to the trip, contact with IDN was very smooth. They were easily accessible via WhatsApp, had clear travel planning and the quote was quickly drawn up and clear. You can easily pay in cash or by card, and you only have to do that when the tour starts. Upon arrival at the airport we were warmly welcomed by our guide Yusuf and driver Budi. Two incredibly friendly men! We got in the car and so began our journey. There is sometimes some travel time between the different destinations, but the cars are comfortable, so that is no problem at all. Along the way you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes, daily life along the way or socialize with your guide and driver. The hotel rooms were neat, clean and the beds were lovely. Really beyond expectations! For lunch and dinner, Yusuf always took us to nice, local restaurants. All tasty and affordable. Our favorite was without a doubt Pinus Sewu, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Semeru volcano while eating. Budi is an excellent driver and is always on time to pick you up again. Yusuf ensures that you lack nothing. Would you like to taste local fruit? Then he'll take care of it. He also takes beautiful photos and videos and tells many interesting things about the area and Indonesian culture in good English. Thanks to them we felt at ease from the first moment. The places you visit on this tour are truly breathtaking and absolutely worth it. We can therefore wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone who is near Malang or Surabaya. We had a great experience on this tour! Our guide, Nikma, was incredibly kind and helpful throughout the trip. She took lots of great photos and videos for us and always knew the best spots to visit and the perfect places for pictures. She really made the experience even more enjoyable. The driver also deserves special mention—he drove very safely, and the vehicle was clean and very comfortable, which made the long drives relaxing. The tour was well organized from start to finish, and everyone was professional, friendly, and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this company to others. The only minor downside wasn't really the company's fault. As a European, I had expected a bit more hiking and physical activity, but that was simply my own misunderstanding or expectation. If you're looking for a comfortable, well-organized sightseeing tour, this is an excellent choice.

A unique experience not to be missed! Our driver and more especially, our guide Dede, was very knowledgable, carrying and fun, and made our visits unforgettable!

We spent two days with Nabiila and Budi, one day to Bromo and one day to Tumpak Sewu. Both days were perfectly organized. The long car rides were entertaining. There was also a lot to see on the drive. With Nabiila and Budi, we were able to have a good conversation about culture and life in Indonesia, especially in comparison to Germany, and we learned a lot in the process. Nabiila and the local guide at Tumpak Sewu guided us through the days very comfortably on-site. During the Jeep ride to Bromo, we felt very safe thanks to the experienced driver. At our request, we also stopped at local street food stands and received the best local food there.

Chose this tour out of many others because of the amazing reviews and yup the experience definitely lived up to the reviews. The entire trip was amazing and everything went smoothly aside from the fact that we overslept and was late for 1 hour for the second day tour and even then the staff was very kind and waited patiently while we rushed to get ready. We had a great breakfast and lunch on the second day which was included in the tour. The highlight of the trip was definitely the sunrise viewing on the second day and climbing up the volcano and me and my friends all agreed that Mt Bromo was just an amazing experience overall and what made it even more perfect was the amazing IDN Trip Experiences team especially Alef who was our tour guide for both of the days. 10/10 would recommend taking the trip with them as throughout the trip we did not feel rushed at all and generally all of our needs was taken care of so literally everything was perfect.

First time in Indonesia and this was also the first tour I went on. I signed up for this tour with a friend and had an amazing time. This tour is pretty physical. Tempak sewu and its waterfalls were beautiful, trekking throughout the waterfall and heading to Goa tetes cave was a bit challenging, so I highly recommend wearing sturdy waterproof shoes/sandals. You will get wet! For Mt. bromo, we had to wake up very early for the sunrise viewing but it was worth it. After the sunrise, you have the option of walking up the trail or doing a horse back ride to the stairs that lead up to get a better view of Mt bromo volcano and the craters. The smell of sulfur was very strong at some points so bring a face mask if you are sensitive to smells. Our guide Nadal was helpful, patient, knowledgeable and answered all our questions and more. All admission fees were all taken care of prior to the tour so we didn't have to worry. He and his team prepared us successfully to have a safe and awesome experience at both the Tempak sewu waterfall and seeing the sunrise view of Mt bromo. Would definitely recommend this tour.

I recently visited Bromo and although the weather was cloudy and I didn’t get to see the iconic golden sunrise, the overall trip was still truly memorable. The highlight came afterward when I visited one of the most famous waterfalls, Tumpak Sewu and Tetes Cave and Waterfall, which was absolutely amazing and worth every step. I was also very fortunate to have an amazing team with me. My guide, Rizki, was always helpful and thoughtful. He even helped me print my train tickets before I left Malang for my next stop, which I really appreciated. My driver was equally wonderful, always stopping at great local spots so I could try fruits and delicious local food along the way. Even without the perfect sunrise, this Bromo trip became special because of the beautiful waterfall experience and the great people who made the journey smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
