2 - Journée Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri & Jaipur Heritage Tour au départ d'Agra

We organised two tours with Sami World Travels before departing to India. Haroon was very prompt at responding to my many queries. Prior to arrival in Jaipur, my daughter fell very ill. I contacted Haroon and explained the situation, he was very understanding and extremely flexible. We swapped the tours around without issue and I was very grateful we selected Sami World Travels. A great start before taking the first tour. Our first tour was a day tour of Jaipur. Shaleen Kumar was our driver, and he arrived promptly and was a welcome smiling face. His vehicle was perfect for our needs, clean, very comfortable and plenty of bottled water. We picked up our guide Kumar, and he had an excellent grasp of English which was perfect. Kumar was a fountain of knowledge in respect to the sites we visited, which included Hawa Mahal, Amber Palace, Water Palace and Chand Baori. We also visited a gem stone factory and a block printing business. Kumar was also an excellent photographer and he took some amazing photos for us. He was also happy to answer any questions and had a great sense of humour. The next day was the Agra day tour. Shaleen was once again perfectly on time and we departed on our anticipated 4.5hr drive to Agra. Shaleen got us there in 3.5hrs with amazing driving skills. We picked up our tour guide for the day who was the amazing Mohammed. Mohammed was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. He treated us like friends not clients. The time we spent touring the Taj Mahal with Mohammed as our guide was the best decision we made. He took us to all the best spots and took some amazing photos for us. No need for a professional photographer. He kept us safe and made sure we got the most from the Taj Mahal experience. Next stop was lunch at Qairo at the Howard Plaza. We were completely unprepared for the volume and quality of food we received. This was all included in the price of the tour. Next stop was the Agra Fort, again Mohammed was a true encyclopaedia. Final stops were a Persian carpet manufacturer, marble/gem specialist and a Pashmina business. All were interesting and there was no obligation to buy. We were unable to see the Mini Taj due to time constraints, but that was down to our choice but the day was more than satisfying. Shaleen took us back for the return journey which took 4.5hrs. Eventually arriving exhausted but happy at 23:00. I cannot recommend Sami World Travels enough and the wonderful team that did everything to guarantee an incredible experience. Finally when they say skip the line, they mean it!
