I took a group tour to Istanbul, Capadocia and Kusadasi. I visited the Fairy Chimneys, the Pasabag Rock, the Ancient City of Ephesus. I mean, I consider myself a traveler, but I had never been in the Middle East. It’s so different than anything I had never seen before. In Turkey, people are warm and welcoming. If you have the chance, visit Turkey, specifically Istanbul. Lots of history and cultural sites.
We spent 15 days on an Intrepid Best of Turkey tour. An outstanding tour that was more than what was advertised. Turkiye is a nation that has lots to offer from historic sites to beaches and the food is incredible. What made our tour so amazing was our tour guide -Mete Mustafa Ates. He is one of the best if not the best guide I have ever used. Professional & Passionate, patient and kind, and a guide who cares about his clients. Traveling in Turkiye and need a guide, do yourself a favor and choose the best. Contract him through WhatsApp +90 554 643 2010 . He is also very humble so I am sure he would be embarrassed if saw this review but please let anyone coming to Turkey that you know a highly recommended guide.
We visited Istanbul in October 2025 as part of tour of Turkey with Altinkum Travel. We stayed at the Celal Sultan Hotel. The hotel was ideally located near the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Istanbul is an amazing city. So much to see, do and eat! We visited the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia - amazing buildings that must be on any visit list. We walked to many places - the Hippodrome, the Grand Bazaar, the Spice Market, Topkapi Palace. One of the best adventures was a cruise on the Bosphorus on the Turkish National Day. Another highlight was the Basilica Cistern, an amazing structure built in the 6th Century, one of those how did the do that places. The best part was the number of places to eat with wonderful food - great fun exploring the food options.

I had such a great time in Türkiye. We visited several cities and the sites were magnificent! Such a beautiful country! At times, the weather affected the itinerary; however, the tour guides proceeded with exciting alternative sites without missing a beat. The tour guides all spoke English, were very helpful, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. The food was good and the hotels were nice and clean. I was impressed with the daily communication regarding the next day's activities, and responses were prompt. Recommend

We had a great time exploring Turkey with a fun group of six. Our guide Tayfyn was very knowledgeable and nice. Our driver Kueret was very professional and kind Free time in the afternoon on some of the days was a great balance. Unfortunately we could not see the balloons fly in Cappadocia due to the weather.
Turkey is rich in history and culture very much enjoyed experiencing it. The tour went as planned without any problems except for some flight delay, that was the fault of the airline. Our hotels were more than adequate and the personal service in Turkey is exceptional whether it’s a waiter a restaurant Bellhop or shuttle drivers they all can’t do enough for you like any good tour our tour guide Thai was exceptional. He put up with her whining stupid questions, but answered all them graciously. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
Comprehensive and well organized tour. All of the accommodation was in great locations and very comfortable. Communication from the tour group through out was timely and very easy to follow. Umit our tour guide was always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Overall I would recommend the tour and tour organizers. Thanks for making the trip such a success.
It gives real Turkey experience and combination of everything. Impossible to put it in writing. Its must visit if someone want to see how is Turkey.
Turkey exceed expectations. Our guide Serhat worked tirelessly to make everything as smooth as possible like shifting the order of the day to avoid being outside in the rain. Serhat is extremely knowledgeable and as he also is an archeologist he has an in depth knowledge of the subject but manages to explain it in an interesting way. We filled in the travel times with background talks to prepare us for the next day. The bus was new and comfortable also because the driver was smooth and I never felt sick. The group were great and we made freinds. We look forward to a return trip to discover more. This was our first TripToGo journey and we were very impressed Thanks to everyone.
Overall the trip was wonderful. Our guide Serhat had a depth of knowledge about the county and its history that was amazing. Between our driver Umit and our guide Serhat, everything was orchestrated very well. Even manipulating the bus ride so that upon arrival the rain had stopped for our outdoors tour. I would give them both a 10 star if it was available! My personal preference would be to have less time in Istanbul and more time in the shorter stops, like the one at the seashore just for a little rest. Also one day was 8+ hours on the bus, of course there were stops and breaks but it was a bit much for one day. Also, the hotel food left a lot to be desired. Maybe have more “on your own” dinners with local restaurant recommendations near the hotel.
