Rejoignez-nous pour une croisière d’une heure et demie entièrement consacrée aux yachts de Fort Lauderdale et aux demeures des riches et célèbres voyageant sur la New River, la voie navigable Intracoastal Waterway et Port Everglades.
Notre visite commence à notre quai du centre-ville de Fort Lauderdale, qui se trouve juste à deux pas de la maison Stranahan.
Nous continuons notre visite du tunnel Henry E. Kinney et sortons sur l'étroite et sinueuse rivière New. Depuis le pont supérieur du Carrie B, vous aurez une excellente vue sur l'hôtel Riverside. Ouvert en 1936, cet hôtel est le summum du charme et de l'élégance du vieux monde à Fort Lauderdale.
Nous continuons d'anciennes maisons qui se sont vendues au début des années 1920 pour seulement 4 000 $ à 8 000 $. Aujourd'hui, ces maisons à Rio Vista et Colee Hammock se vendent à des prix de plusieurs millions de dollars. Nous continuons après le parc Colee Hammock et nous nous dirigeons vers la section la plus large de la New River.

Trying to reserve the boat tour we wanted took over two hours. I spoke with a man, then a woman whose ability to speak English was almost none. I was booked on the wrong tour. I was able to cancel that. Then I received a ticket for what seemed the correct tour but the meeting place was confusing. We went to the place suggested and found it to be the wrong place. A much smaller boat appeared that held only about 12 people. The one we were supposed to go on was a sizable double-decker. The itinerary was not at all what we wanted. A totally disappointing experience.

The crew was very nice. Boat was super clean. I looooved the guide speaker he was hilarious. I went for my birthday and was given a complimentary drink.

The cruise was fun and informative. Definitely a hidden gem in Ft Lauderdale! Plenty of a/c for us! We were coming from a cruise before leaving for the airport later in the afternoon. The crew held our luggage for us and made sure we were comfortable aboard the Carrie B. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting South Florida!
