Le chalet Curmatura, situé à 1470 m d'altitude, est l'une des étapes les plus intéressantes à parcourir lors de l'ascension des sentiers de montagne Piatra Craiului.
Les gorges de Zarnesti (canyon) sont un lieu magnifique exposé par la nature.

Andrei picked me up from my hotel and was an excellent guide for the hike to the chalet at the top of Masiv Postavarul. During the walk, he was very polite and giving me interesting information about the animals in the forest. The walk itself was accessible for me (29 yr old healthy female who exercises regularly) and not too steep. It was 10.5km total approximately. The view from the chalet was a bit cloudy but it cleared soon and you get a great view over the mountain range. I would Strongly recommend Andrei to take you on your Carpathian Mountains hike from Braşov.
We had a wonderful hike, the perfect experience to enjoy the mountains! The route is not for the faint of heart, but even we that we are of medium fitness level managed and had an awesome time. We recommend the food at the chalet, and our wonderful guide, Andrei, also gave us two awesome restaurant recommendations that we really thank him for.
We had an amazing hike with Andrei who felt like a friend from the moment we met. He kindly collected us from our chalet and was an informative and patient guide. My two children, 11 and 13 loved it and so did I. It was about 10 miles in total - 2.5 hours up, amazing lunch in the chalet at the top and 1.5 hours down. Highly recommend this activity. It will be the highlight of our Romanian trip. Beautiful forest, mountains and a chance to have some outdoor fun together.
A great experience walking with Andrei near the peak of Vârful Postăvarul, to make the last section to the top (1799 m) on my own. We didn't encounter any bears on the way, but we remained vigilant. The trip was short, we clocked in under four hours, but filled to the brim with some spectacular vistas. A definite recommendation, especially if you, such as myself, are a bit cautious hiking alone in the Carpathians. And Andrei is an awesome conversation partner so it doesn't get boring either.

Really good guide, informative and safety conscious. Fortunate that weather was great with stunning views of the Carpathians. Booked an additional e-bike tour with the guide for the following day, which was another fantastic day.
I had a great day hiking in the Carapathian mountains (piatra craiului). Such a beautiful place. My guide Andrei was very knowledgeable about the area and very easy to get along with. I recommend this tour!
Very knowledgeable and Great guide. Beautiful Mountains and walking track. He was very patient and allowed me lots of time to enjoy the view and take photo. The hike however does require abit of fitness. JO
We made a last minute decision to go on this hike. Really happy we did. From the pickup to the hike to the chalet and back - we loved every minute. Andrei was a great guide - knowledgeable and helpful. It's a nice change of pace from the historical sights and amazing food and drinks in Brasov - a few hours to connect with the nature and family/friends. Highly recommended 🙏👍
