An intimate trip with only one other traveller. Comfortable vehicle, excellent guide. Tasty lunch. Helpful explanations. Done at the right pace.
Natalia was a wonderful guide. She was very friendly, funny and you could tell she loves her job. We’ve learned a lot about Moldova, not only the history but also some anecdotes/insights from a local perspective. Additionally to our tour, Natalia showed us a great restaurant where we tried Mamaliga. We’re sure to come back to Moldova in the next few years and we’re already looking forward to our next tour with Natalia. ☺️
Our guide Natalia was phenomenal! She’s been doing the same tours for 18 years, yet judging by her enthusiasm and energy, one would think she was doing it for the first time. She derives so much pleasure from interacting with her clients and sharing her knowledge about Moldova. She clearly loves her job and her country. I was a bit worried that an all-day tour might be too much, but it felt just right in the end. The two monasteries and the winery were all enjoyable, and our lunch in a cave restaurant was a delightful surprise. Thank you again, Natalia!
Our guide Natalia was very informative and skillful to tell about the history of Moldova. We learned a lot about the sights during today’s excursion. She was welcoming and very enthusiastic. We saw beautiful churches, beautiful landscape, visited a monk in a cave and ended the day with a wine tasting tour in Cricova. We also had lunch in a fantastic cave in the cliffs “Epoca de piatra”. This was a great experience, good and cheap food with great wine. A really good excursion which we definitely recommend and give 5 stars. Thanks from a Danish family.
I absolutely loved the trip! Ecaterina is a great guide, always making sure we're comfortable and are okay with the schedule. She has a great sense of humour too. The views were great, the Cricova winery is definitely a must see! Would have rated higher but 5 is the max rating ;)
Great tour and fantastic guide! Both monasteries are incredible. Curchi amazed us with its architecture and well kept garden, while Old Orchei by its uniqueness and history. Cricova was very fun, Disney for adults :) I must highlight the excellent service provided by Natalia. She was very thoughtful, pleasant and did so much to help us navigate Moldova, even helping us with matters unrelated to the tour itself. Totally recommended!
Natalia was a blessing on my trip to Chisinau! She agreed to pick me up and take me back to the airport, handled a check out problem I caused at my hotel, helped me reschedule a flight out, advised me on places to eat and in general just looked out for me! I needed to remind myself that English isn’t her native language because she was so easy to communicate with. I was going back to Romania for a dental follow up procedure but discovered I could use the same clinic in Chisinau and with Natalia and a couple other locals I met there, I’m headed to Chisinau only in July!
Great experience that exceeded our expectations. We had a great time with our guide Natalia who told us stories about Moldova history. Astonishing landscapes, beautiful countryside.
Excellent communication leading up to our tour. Picked up on time from our hotel. Wonderful information and history as we drove into the country side. Natalia is passionate about sharing her knowledge and love of Moldova with others. She is professional and personable. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and we highly recommend doing a tour with her.
Curchi church is probably one of the most beautiful in Moldova Orhei is just amazing place I really recommend to visit these places Natalia brought us to a an incredible restaurant with traditional moldovan food. Very unusual place: you eat tasty food in an amazing huge cave with moldovian music If you like wine you should definitely visit Cricova winery Moldovian wines are very tasty ! So by the way I highly recommend this tour and I would like to say thank you to Natalia who is just an amazing guide and also a very helpful and wonderful person😉
