Dans l'un des plus anciens musées du monde dédié au livre, à l'impression et à l'écriture, vous entrerez dans le coffre-fort de haute sécurité et aurez une vue rapprochée de la Bible de Gutenberg imprimée vers 1450 à Mayence. Comprenez l'impact de ce chef-d'œuvre de «l'Homme du Millénaire». Un autre point fort est la démonstration d'impression en direct; asseyez-vous pendant 15 minutes et voyez comment les lettres ont été coulées et comment les pages ont été imprimées il y a près de 600 ans par Johannes Gutenberg dans son atelier local. Our English speaking tour guide, Judith made the Gutenberg Museum very interesting and informative. Without a guide this museum would take less than 30 min. We had a full hour+ and enjoyed every bit of it. It was a very in depth experience into the history of printing and Gutenbergs contribution to mass production of the written word.
Our tour guide, Judith is very knowledgeable and speaks very excellent and understandable English. She did a great job of explaining the whole printing process and history of printing as well as explaining Gutenbergs contribution to history. It was a fascinating and informative tour.

What amazing experience! Judith was phenomenal. I would see the Gutenberg Museum NO OTHER way than with a tour guide. You really better appreciate the historical significance. And KID FRIENDLY, we have a 9, 5, and 2 year old and they catered the tour to our family, including a live demo of the printing press and letting the kids participate and get a souvenir parchment! Such an amazing family experience.
