Itinéraire
Tout d'abord, nous allons visiter Shinjuku 3-chrome, où vous pourrez découvrir d'authentiques restaurants teppanyaki locaux et vous ferez votre propre « Okonomiyaki » et « Monja-yaki ». Profitez de la délicieuse nourriture et des boissons tout en vous mêlant aux sympathiques habitants. C'est une excellente façon de découvrir la véritable vie nocturne de la vieille ville de Tokyo.
Ensuite, nous nous dirigeons vers Omoide Yokocho. Cette ruelle étroite regorge de plus de 60 petits bars et restaurants servant de délicieux Yakitori, Motsuyaki et d'autres spécialités locales. Vous pouvez profiter de l'ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale du lieu, discuter avec les locaux et déguster une variété de boissons, du saké au shochu en passant par la bière et le whisky. Ce joyau caché rendra votre voyage à Tokyo inoubliable.
Nous avons visité une salle d'arcade Japonaise animée où les enfants et les adultes peuvent s'éclater! Que vous jouiez à Taiko Drum Master en prenant des photos amusantes dans les cabines Purikura, que vous couriez dans Mario Kart ou que vous viviez le frisson des courses automobiles Wangan — c’était l’endroit idéal pour profiter ensemble du côté ludique du Japon. Shinjuku Golden Gai est un quartier de boissons unique dans le quartier Shinjuku de Tokyo. Il a plus de 200 bars minuscules emballés dans des ruelles étroites, chacune avec sa personnalité et son thème. (applicable uniquement lorsque le temps le permet)
Après la salle d’arcade, nous nous sommes dirigés vers un endroit où les adultes peuvent déguster du saké Japonais — avec des sélections de différentes régions du Japon — tandis que les enfants (et les adultes aussi!) peuvent s’amuser au snack-bar Japonais à volonté. Great tour. Our guide Maho was brilliant, excellent English and she was great with our kids. Also she was very accommodating with dietary requirements and fussy eating kids.

Our guide Shuhei was awesome! Very articulate punctual and full of information! The food was interesting, spots we would not have found. My only complaint having done other food tours in other cities is that there were only 3 stops. I would have preferred smaller bites and more locations.

This was definitely a great cultural experience with our 2 teen boys. We got to learn a bit more about what teens in Japan do, like photo booths and go to a dedicated “snack” restaurant. I do feel it was a bit expensive for only one meal being included and paying out of pocket for the rest.
