Profitez de cette excursion d'une journée à Varanasi, la ville de Varanasi chargée d'histoire; visitez le Sarnath, la ville où le Bouddha a donné son premier sermon. Vous visiterez des lieux tels que Sarnath , le temple Bharat Mata et profiterez d'une promenade en bateau sur le Gange

Itinéraire
Départ de votre hôtel ou de n'importe où à Delhi à 4 heures du matin et transfert à l'aéroport de New Delhi. Le vol part à 6h20 pour Varanasi. Arrivée à l'aéroport de Varanasi à 8h du matin et route pour la ville de Varanasi. Hôtel 4 ou 5 étoiles. Continuation en bateau sur le Gange pour observer les ghats (ou les marches d'une rivière) et les sites de crémation. Vous visiterez le temple Bharat Mata, qui possède une immense carte en relief de l'Inde sculptée dans du marbre. Après cela, vous visiterez le temple Durga, Tulsi Manas Mandir et ferez une promenade en pousse-pousse (tricycle) en passant par les rues animées et les bazars de Varanasi. Pause déjeuner, le déjeuner sera servi dans des restaurants climatisés locaux. Après le déjeuner, vous visiterez Sarnath, un centre de pèlerinage très important pour les bouddhistes, car c'est là que le Bouddha a prêché son premier sermon après avoir atteint l'illumination. Les temples de Sarnath et le musée archéologique qui l'accompagne regorgent d'art et de trésors bouddhistes. Après Varanasi Sightseeing, transfert à l'aéroport de Varanasi et vol pour Delhi. Arrivée à l'aéroport de Delhi et transfert à votre hôtel à Delhi à 22 heures.

Ganges boat trip was the most memorable. We enjoyed walking through the streets. Very vibrant, colourful and interesting.

I very much wanted to see Varanasi, but only had a day available. Vinay and his team made it happen; the sacred Ganges, the pilgrims on the riverfront ghats, the city backstreets. Vinay helped me understand the importance of Sarnath to Buddhist pilgrims. A very memorable day, if you're willing to make an early start and get back to Delhi fairly late. Be sure to check with the tour organizers early, as the Delhi-Varanasi flight schedules seem to vary -
