Tour de vélo dans les villages autour de Moshi

Description

Really enjoyable tour. Said was an excellent guide and very accommodating for those a little less confident on the bikes. Fantastic way to see some of the local villages. The food provided at the end was excellent too, and able to be made vegetarian on request. Would highly recommend if you have some spare time in Moshi!
Great experience! Totally recommend. Said was an excellent guide.
Thank you so much for for booking with us we're looking forward to riding with you again
The tour is very pleasant, safe and easy, even if you are not experienced in cycling in Africa traffic and country roads. The guide made surethat we all stay together. Adjusted tempo when needed. We saw pretty villages, sugar cane plantation, rice fields and a forest with monkeys.

We booked the Moshi Village Bike Tour with Bike2Kili Safaris for a family outing, and it was absolute perfection from start to finish! Our guide, Juma, was incredible—he was extremely knowledgeable, informative, and had a warm, welcoming smile on his face the entire time. He made sure everyone in the family felt safe, comfortable, and engaged throughout the ride. The itinerary was fantastic! We loved cycling through the vibrant rice fields, getting an authentic glimpse into the local village life, and riding through the lush forest where we were lucky enough to see monkeys up close. To top it all off, the local lunch provided was super delicious and a wonderful highlight of the day. If you are visiting Moshi and looking for an authentic, fun, and well-organized family experience, look no further than Bike2Kili Safaris. Thank you, Juma and the team, for such amazing memories! Highly recommended!

The bike tour itself is 5 stars as far as scenery goes. It has potential to be very informative. I am leaving a low rating because what was offered in the tour description was not what I received. I was provided a tour guide who did not have basic conversational English. This means that the tour was conducted in silence, he was unable to explain anything to me, nor was I able to ask him any questions or share that the equipment was hurting my hands. I left the tour early and did not complete it as the lunch experience was very uncomfortable as the guide could not converse with me and decided to play on his phone (I was the only client) and the equipment was failing (bike grips are plastic and painful and the chain would fall off when I geared down). The company refunded me 42% of the tour in spite of knowing how disappointed I was in how the day unfolded. I also contacted Viator who was denied at least a 50% refund as well. This was beyond disappointing, especially as a solo female traveler who books tours for the experience and a ‘guide’ to provide me information beyond what I can see or read online. I do not fault the young man who did his best to provide a good tour. He did his best. I lay fault on whoever sent a non-english speaking guide on an English-speaking tour. It was a lose-lose situation for both of us. This tour has the potential to be 5 stars if I had a guide who could converse with me. If you choose to book with this company, know what they will not fully refund you for a dissatisfactory experience due to their own error. And confirm that your guide’s language will match what was offered in the tour description if learning during your tours matters to you.
Dear Tarah, Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. While we are glad you enjoyed the scenic route, we deeply apologize that your experience fell far short of expectations. We hold our tours to high standards, and it is clear we failed regarding guide matching and bike comfort during your excursion. We take full accountability for sending a guide who was unable to communicate fluently in English, and we are addressing this internally so it does not happen again. We appreciate your kind words about our guide’s effort, and we sincerely regret the frustration this situation caused you as a solo traveler. Thank you again for bringing these crucial details to our attention. Sincerely, Said Juma
It’s one-day cycling at west Kilimanjaro. Professional guidance and equipments, phenomenal views and animal encounters, and diverse landscapes and village environments. It’s definitely a fulfilled day with a lot of joys. Looking forward to exploring other areas with Bike 2 Kili!
Thank you so much for riding with us and choosing bike safaris West Kilimanjaro was really unforgettable experience we're looking forward to offer you another unique package we have.
I chose the 25km route with the guide Alpha. I am not professional in cycling but I also really enjoyed the trip. We passed by rice farm, maize farm, sugar cane farm and villages. The views are very beautiful and peaceful. And the guide is very friendly and professional. My bike broke down on the half way, but Alpha fixed it in short time. He is also very patient and friendly, and always happy to help me take photos. And always check on me as well. Good experience!
Thank you for the wonderful review! We're glad you enjoyed the scenic 25km route and that Alpha's quick bike repair and photography skills made your trip even better. We hope to see you again soon to our multiple days bicycle tour.
Well worth it! Saw amazing sights that otherwise wouldn't have. Easy riding, mostly flat. Alfe was a great guide, always felt safe. Good value for $.
Thank you for feedback we're happy to hear that tour worth every penny and about how easy it's.
I had a wonderful tour with Alpha. It allowed me to see a side of Moshi that I would never have been able to experience on my own or while driving. We visited villages, local life, and farms, and I particularly enjoyed the forest. The total tour lasted about five hours and covered 35km. I'm not a regular biker, and I did it after trekking Kilimanjaro in 32°C heat. The path was mostly flat, with a total elevation difference of 130 meters. I highly recommend it!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! A huge congratulations on trekking Kilimanjaro—completing a 35km bike ride in that heat right after your climb is seriously impressive! We are so glad Alpha could show you the "hidden" side of Moshi, from the local farms to the forest. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to him. Safe travels!
The tour was fantastic. Alpha was a super capable, pleasant and knowledgeable guide. We saw so much of Moshi and surrounding area! Super highly recommended!
We appreciate you choosing our service! It's wonderful to receive feedback about Alfa; he truly keeps the spirit of great service alive with every ride. We're proud to have him on our team!
