Kristin was an amazing host. She was knowledgeable, energetic and friendly.
What a fantastic cooking class and experience! We loved our instructor - Glenn - he was excellent. And so knowledgeable about Atlanta and the market and history. It was a highlight of our trip - my whole family loved it, and now when we go back home we know the secret of making delicious, fluffy biscuits and sweet tea!
What a fun afternoon! People, food, process, leadership, and setting were all wonderful. So glad we spent the time with Glenn and left with such delicious food!
We really enjoyed our Southern Essentials cooking class! Glenn, our guide, was full of historical knowledge of not only the Sweet Auburn Market, but the history of sweet tea and the food we prepared. The recipes were simple and easy to follow. We found Glenn to be an excellent instructor and pretty funny too. The best part of the day…we got to bring home extra biscuits and pimento cheese! 😋
I enjoyed learning about the history of the “curbside market” and of biscuits and sweet tea. Glen, the biscuit king, was very organized and knowledgeable. I’ve been making biscuits for years and still learned some great tips on how to make delicious biscuits. The price was reasonable. An hour and a half flew by quickly!
