007 Shadow Of Spectre

I’d booked this tour for my brother ages ago and I have to be honest, I had no idea of what to expect. But I was really impressed by this whole experience - it didn’t feel thin or underdeveloped, there was plenty to do and we had fun. The props we had to pick up were all convincing with high production value and added polish, and the frequent stops at pubs were great for comfort breaks and supporting businesses with a pint or two… All of the copy was well written and easy to follow, and it was challenging enough to keep us guessing. The whole narrative unfolds over WhatsApp, so be prepared for a fair amount of contact saving and messaging (and take a battery bank, just in case!). I personally loved having that flexibility over the gameplay. Really recommend this, we had a great time!

Terrible customer service - we turned up within the allotted start time to begin the game only for the automated messaging to start bugging. It was constantly telling us we’d finished the game even though we were yet to start. This isn’t so much of an issue as these things can happen. However, the part that was far more frustrating was that there was nobody to get in touch with at any point. We tried to email, call the numbers we could find online, fill in the online form with no luck. We only managed to get a response in the evening, far after their operating hours.

A fun afternoon of solving cryptic clues. I recommend it to locals and tourists. Great of seeing the city.

A great experience. A fun game and great way to explore parts of London even as a Londoner I hadn’t seen. Great communication and organisation throughout, this James Bond themed game was great fun for our grown up family. Oh, and we got to visit some great pubs too!! Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be doing another one.

A fantastic experience! Would thoroughly recommend! My husband and I did the 007 game and we are already looking to book the next one, perhaps with the kids this time (aged 9 and 13). It's a decent walk around London, but with plenty of pit stops (they give you the option to pause the game at certain points if you want to stay at a pub and have a drink). I did 1500 steps that day, but it definitely didn't feel like it - we were constantly entertained looking for the next clues! An absolutely great concept - like an escape room but on a walking tour of London at the same time. Everything is accessed through your phone so make sure it's got plenty of battery life! Older kids would love it, just factor in the walking if you're taking younger ones!

This was a great game to play around London. It takes you to some lovely pubs that we would never have known about. The game is very well organised with options to have breaks at some of the pubs. Make sure you have comfy footwear as its a good trek around London.

This was a great experience. We booked to complete the challenge between travelling to London checking in to our hotel. It was perfect because the built in breaks allows for lunch and comfort breaks. The clues include physical evidence and phone interactions. Would do it again

This was honestly excellent. I didn't think it was going to be bad, you understand - but this far exceeded my expectations. My good lady and I did just fine as pair, it took us about two and half hours and she didn't mind one bit about how excitable I got every time a message came through or some niche Bond reference was mentioned. In fact, she is, unbelievably, still attracted to me.
