The 18-person minibus pick-up that accompanied us all day was punctual and courteous. The captain of the “speed boat” that 9 other people along with my wife and me had the misfortune of meeting should be arrested immediately. A nightmare excursion that began with his extremely aggressive approach to the entire crew in a “I am the captain here, you shut up because you don't understand anything” style, but this is just the beginning. An off-shore race from departure to return to Porto Vromi with adventures and wheelies that terrified the participants: when we asked for explanations, we were told that it was the only navigation speed that would have allowed us to stay safe. Given his tendency to get “face to face” with the guests, of various nationalities, by mutual agreement we decided to let it go, granting him one last wheelie with splashes of water right at the entrance to the port (simulating a collision with the cliff before turning sharply). Too bad, because the part at sea was worth a lot, but we experienced it like a nightmare, at the mercy of an arrogant egomaniac.. PRAY YOU DO NOT END UP WITH HIM OR, TO BE SURE, CHOOSE SOMETHING ELSE!!

Our tour was extremely seamless and led by a fantastic tour guide (Marcos). Very knowledgeable and friendly, showing and telling us everything along the way. It was the perfect way to explore the island for a day and we wouldn't have changed anything about it.
We booked a private boat hire with a captain for 5 hours, we had an absolute blast, we visited several caves, the shipwreck and swam at 3 beautiful beaches, all made even more magical with the very special Captain Ninja.
Captain Ninja the best Skipper on the Island. An amazing experience for us. We recommend.
The tour guide Christos was amazing. He went out of his way to maximize the tour. Part of the tour was a boat ride to shipwreck beach. We got on the boat and the seas were very rough. We asked the boat captain to take us back after 5 minutes which he did. The boat went out again with the other passengers and also had to return after a few minutes. In my opinion it was dangerous. Small boat in very rough sea with large waves. It was supposed to be a 2 hour boat ride. The tour ended early, no plan B. We never should have started the boat ride and there should have been better coordination with the tour guide and the boat operators.
What a fantastic day we had!! It did not disappoint! We got picked up by Spiros.... What a guy!! He was our tour guide and he was amazing! His stories and knowledge across Zante was fantastic and you could ask him anything and he would tell you! Funny as well! We covered a lot of places, beaches, little villages, shipwreck beach top and bottom, boat ride whilst soaking up the sun, food, wine tasting, 2000 year old olive tree and more.. really was such a good day.. we would recommend this and well worth the money. Ticket sellers made many promises that were not kept. Said meeting point was not right, we had to switch between 3 providers to get a place on a boat at all, we should be able to contact the ticket seller directly in case of problems - of course 3 hours no answer, also the said boat we booked we did not get, there were promised small boats with few people, unfortunately a very crowded boat, the price of the website was also not right and we had to 35€ p. Pay person who wasn't worth all the stress.
Hi Luisa You probably leave you post under a wrong product and wrong supplier in tripadvisor We dont do what you describe on this product ... everything is prepaid. I m sorry to here you had this bad experience from another local supplier.
Our tour guide Spyros was fantastic, very friendly and accommodating. The minibus that collected us was air-conditioned and comfortable, our speedboat was fantastic with an amazing sound system. We were a family of five and we thoroughly enjoyed the boat trip and the snorkelling. lots of interesting sites to be seen. We would do it again!

This was an excellent tour. It really gave you a feel for the island and took you to incredibly beautiful spots. Our tour guide was Spiros. He also was excellent. He was knowledgable, very accommodating of the group’s wishes and made the day fun.
