We had an amazing day as a family of 5 on this boat trip and we would definitely recommend it to anyone! The trip has the perfect balance of sightseeing, activities and time to relax and our guide was amazing. We loved seeing the military cave and learning about the history, the caves we swam into were beautiful and every swimming and snorkelling stop was beautiful and peaceful. Our stop at Veli rat lighthouse was where we had lunch at the al a carte restaurant and we would recommend doing this! We had a beautiful lunch with an amazing view! Overall it was a brilliant trip with good value for money as you get to see a lot in one day, definitely book this trip!
I had so many worries about this tour when I booked it. I read poor ratings of the restaurant at Veli Rat Lighthouse. I wondered if the tour was trying to do too much and would feel rushed. Was there enough shade on the boat? But, I had a short amount of time in Zadar and I wanted to see EVERYTHING. I wanted to visit Sakarun Beach and snorkel the wreck at Veli Rat, and see the Golubinka Sea Cave. This tour was incredible and I can't recommend it highly enough. The lighthouse was amazing and the restaurant is great! The boat was comfortable and had plenty of shade. I never felt rushed or over scheduled. And, our operator was fantastic. At one point, we had a problem -- the boat's motor died and couldn't be started again. Our operator stayed calm, communicated clearly his plan, and was able to repair the engine himself. (If the boat couldn't be started, there was another boat which would rescue us.) This points to a mature operation with excellent training of tour operators. I can't recommend this tour enough.
The tour was super nice and mega fun. The boat was bolted and groomed and I am sure it will be lovingly cleaned and maintained after every round! The sunken ship was unfortunately very crowded, but that was already clear before. I was a bit sad not to have an underwater camera with me. Croatia always convinces us with its crystal clear waters! Drinks on board were well mixed, there was something for everyone! At the lighthouse there is a great restaurant, or actually two. One a little more upscale and one more fast food-inspired, but food there was wonderful. The last swim stop was again a little more between the islands. On a neighbouring boat was party 😂 that was a bit funny as some passengers were probably already a bit drunk. That might bother some, we thought it was funny.
Great excursion much seen and experienced Weather was great Beautiful beach seen food was great Drinking on board was great Equipment would have to be disinfected because everyone uses the mouthpiece when lacing!!
Excursion cancelled the day before at 23:58 due to weather. I can understand the reason, but marine forecasts are available several days in advance.
We have a great time in Sakarun! We will be sure to come back next year! :D Beautiful tour, and ships also Roko who is very young abdolutely fantastic!
Best ride so far,I was sceptical at first seeing a young skiper behind a wheel but after some time it turned out to be on of the greatest experiences in Zadar.Definitely coming back next year!
Roko is super friendly and has a great sense of humor – you won’t be missing a thing! We went during the pre-season and had some pretty strong winds, but Roko always puts safety first and adjusts the route if necessary. You’re in good hands. Expect a fantastic day with lots of blue water, fish, and maybe a cold drink or two. Highly recommended – don’t miss this trip!
