Yosemite Grand Adventure - excursión de un día desde S. Lake Tahoe

This tour and our tour guide Snowshoe John was amazing!! Getting up early was hard, but it is well worth the quietness of the park you are able to get by being there right after the sun rises. John knew every single bird, flower, mountain, waterfall and just about anything you would want to know. He had a light breakfast and a fantastic lunch for us which was great and we sat along a lake to eat it which was gorgeous!!! The van/bus was very comfortable and although there were no bathrooms on board (I panicked about that at first) the stops where we were able to go were plentiful. I highly recommend this tour.

Our tour guide, John, did an outstanding job of explaining Lake Tahoe highlights and history, prepared a very tasteful and healthy breakfast and lunch for duration of tour. The transportation vehicle was clean and we were well taken care of during the entire tour. It was a great intro to Yosemite NP.

My grandsons and I were happy from start to finish. Snowshoe John was phenomenal! The information he shared during the ride time was informative and captivating. He went well beyond his duties in food preparation; even the "snack" was a feast. He went out of his way to provide "extra" stops and experiences. At first glance, the length of the tour might seem daunting, but in reality it went by very quickly, due mostly, I expect, to the thought, effort, and caring of our driver/guide. My grandkids were quite happy and excited about their experience, claiming that they would be reliving and sharing stories with their kids one day. Thank you for the memories!

Wow, what a fantastic tour! Our guide, Snowshoe John, worked nonstop the whole day to provide an enjoyable and educational experience of Yosemite Park. He provided a great tour, showing his 25+ years of experience as a guide and outdoorsman. His commentary demonstrated his knowledge of nature, botany, zoology, history, geology, and his environmentalist passion to protect nature. He provided delicious breakfast and lunch buffets. He navigated the winding steep roads with great experience and skill, so we all always felt safe. He timed stops to avoid other busses’ schedules, so we did not waste time on stops. He was able to park in bus parking, so walks to sites were short, yet he made longer hikes available for those who wanted them. He allowed time to explore visitors center or souvenir shopping for those who wanted that choice, so everyone on the bus had their wishes met. We all had a wonderful time, learned a lot, and felt we had truly experienced Yosemite. It was well worth the money to be able to see so much in one day! I highly recommend this trip!

Wow! This is a great trip. It may sound like a lot of money, but it is so worth it. The views on the roundtrip drive are amazing, and he navigated the roads with experience (over 25 years of touring I think) and skill. He did wonderful commentary on the sites, and had great videos on the bus about the area. He was a skilled geologist, botanist, ornithologist, historian, etc, and I learned so much, and it was very enjoyable. Our guide, Snowshoe John, was a dynamo, working hard setting up delicious breakfast and lunch buffets, and was always around to answer questions. We saw the things we wanted to see, and it would have taken us several days to see these things if we had to park and walk, but he could use bus parking! He knew times to avoid the crowds and other busses at sites, so we stayed on a great schedule so there was no wait at restroom stops, and hardly any wait at Gate Entrance. I am just sorry that 5 stars is the max I can give, as I highly recommend this trip.

Snowshoe John made the trip thoroughly educational and entertaining. Yosemite Park is full of awe inspiring sights in every direction! Lots to take in and appreciate!! Well timed stops to get out, hike a bit, rest, snacks, take lots of photos and have a very memorable day!!!

We had a group of 11 from age 6-76. We loved this trip & it was the best way to see Yosemite in one day. Snowshoe John was the absolute best. His passion, dedication & knowledge of Yosemite & Lake Tahoe area was refreshing & inspiring. The videos were also good to watch. It’s an experience none of us will forget. Thank you!!

We totally loved the tour, and the main reason was the excellent tour guide we had. Snowshoe John was the best. His preparation, knowledge, and commentary, was excellent. He did such a great job at making sure we got history about the beautiful sceneryqq. Yes the scenery is what you took the tour for, which made the tour worth the money, but the guide took it to the next level. Highly recommend it.

Wonderful trip... worth every penny. Our guide/driver was so knowledgeable about the area. He kept us entertained, gave us lots of history and personal experience, and fed us a marvelous breakfast and lunch.
