We were very disappointed as a family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) that after only 30 minutes into our admission to Wonderworks we were shocked to experience several busloads of campers arrive and take over every exhibit. We were never informed by the staff at the admissions desk that they were expecting these campers to arrive shortly. After 45 minutes of trying to "have fun" it was clearly impossible with now long wait lines, and screaming/ unruly children. We were also shocked that the 3rd floor level only had arcade games that you had to additionally "pay for". We ended up leaving disgusted and disappointed after only 90 minutes of noise and stress, especially after paying approximately $136 on Thursday, June 18th. The staff should have advised us on admission that they were expecting such a large group of campers that day. We would have come back another date.

This is sold as a STEM and interactive exhibit. However it is essentially a giant arcade. The noise and lights were immediate, as well as a strong air freshener scent. If you are sensitive to lights, noise, and smell I do not recommend. If you or your child is easily overstimulated (ADHD/SPD/AUTISM), do not attend. There are some cool exhibits, like the wind tunnel and nail bed, but it is so loud and distracting that we couldn't hear or focus to learn at each station. Also recommend calling ahead to see if there are any summer camps or school groups present in order to avoid additional noise and crowd. I will not attend again at any location.
