Great experience with a tour around the vineyard which was very interesting. This was followed by the wine tasting and lunch which was fantastic and lasted much longer than expected. Very relaxed throughout with no pressure to buy the wine or olive oil.

Wonderful experience and some of the best wines we tasted in tuscany.

If anyone is visiting San Gimignano, I highly recommend this wine tasting. The Vernaccia wine is fantastic, the estate is beautiful, and Fausto is very knowledgeable.

This was such a magical experience for my husband and I! It felt like we were in a dream being able to tour a vineyard in Tuscany. The views are absolutely unbeatable! Fausto was a friendly, informative host, and the wine and food they served were excellent! We bought a box of 6 wines to ship home as well as purchasing some of their very own olive oil, which we also were able to sample on bruschetta they served. We felt like this was well worth the price and would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time during our booked wine tasting at Guardastelle. It was an insightful experience where we were given a tour of the vineyard and taken through the process of their wine-making process, from grape to final product. We finished with a tasting of their flavorful wines, paired with a selection of delicious local cuisine.

Perfect host Fausto and a very cozy atmosphere. Delicious wines with good explanations and matching dishes.

A warm welcome with a short and clear explanation about the small family winery and their wines. Then a more than good lunch with matching wines. Afterwards, you can buy something in the store, without obligation. It’s nice that you never feel like you ‘have to’ do this. Wonderfully small scale.

Nice experience where we got to see the vineyards and the wine cellar. Our hostess told the story of the place and explained about grapes and wine. It was all very fine. But when we had to eat lunch, which was advertised as being outdoors, if the weather was for it, we were put inside with no view. It was disappointing in the lovely sunny weather as it was, but even more disappointing was the amount of wine poured up. 1 whole bottle reached almost the entire company of 20 people. We tried 2 other vineyards in the city, which was clearly significantly better. Can I recommend the place? Yes, but don't expect too much wine for the money.

Lovely tour with a fab 3 course lunch. Being a gluten intolerant person I was well looked after. Food was delicious and well presented and got to try 5 very nice wines. The view of San Gimangnano were lovely as well.

We visited Tenuta Guardastelle in May on the recommendation of our son and his partner who had visited a couple of years ago. It did not disappoint. We tasted 2 white wines and 2 reds which were accompanied by excellent cured meats and bruschetta that enhanced the flavours. Our host was Gaia, who was very knowledgeable about the estate, the wines and the area. The setting is wonderful with the backdrop of beautiful San Gimignagno. The weather was a little unpredictable so we ate inside however the room was delightful - typically Tuscan. All in all a great experience that I would highly recommend. We left with a mixed case of red and white wine.
