Deckland and Maria were incredible! We loved how much we learned from the commentary on the drives. The timing was perfect
Excellent day out. The cliffs are stunning and Canterbury beautiful . Well worth it. Our tour guide Emily was amazing
Absolutely worthwhile! Gorgeous views of Dover Port and the cliffs. We loved it! Canterbury was also interesting, we didn’t tour the cathedral (18 pounds!) but enjoyed having lunch and walking around the town. Very comfortable bus ride. Highly recommend.
You can walk quite a distance if you choose. To completely enjoy the cliffs and also the town, you really should. Wear comfortable shoes.
Guide was great quite a history buff he made the journey memorable. Great job Tiger. The hike along the chalk cliffs was great just what I expected. And Cantebury was quant well worth the visit
Sam (Tour Manager) and Laura (Driver) were wonderful. White Cliffs of Dover were fantastic. Canterbury was very touristy. One of the only tours I could find that gave you 2 hours at the Cliffs but could have used even more time! I’d recommend more time at the Cliffs and less time at Canterbury.
Tiger was our guide and he was amazing. Very friendly, funny and knowledgeable. I forgot the drivers name but he was amazing too. I felt like this tour was the right pace, not to rushed or bored. Had enough time to explore the White Cliffs and walk to the lighthouse. We also had enough time to explore Canterbury Cathedral and stop for lunch. Also stopped to take pictures of Stirling Castle. Was a great trip for a great price.
Lovely tour. Coach was comfortable and air conditioned. Be prepared for a windy walk along the cliffs. Very picturesque.
We had a very hot day. But overall the experience was good. We had enough time to do some shopping and have a long lunch
There is a good deal of travel time on this tour, but our tour guide Declan made the time pass quickly with his informative stories and quick wit. The white cliffs of Dover are a must see and we were fortunate to have crystal clear weather enabling a good view of the coast of France across the English Channel. The town of Canterbury is like walking through a real life version of a Disney set. Lunch at The Old Weaver Pub was delicious, but it was just one of many dining choices. Canterbury Cathedral is steeped in history and another must see, although be aware that there is a separate charge to tour the Cathedral, but the ticket is good for a year.
