The tour itself was great. The guide was very knowledgeable, entertaining, and comfortable speaking English. However, I can't give the experience a high rating because of a lack of transparency about tipping. At the beginning, the organizer asked people where they're from and what hotel they're staying at (which I found strange to ask for a relatively short walking tour that didn't involve drop-offs). We were eventually divided into an English group and a Spanish group. Towards the end, our guide mentioned how booking platforms (like GetYourGuide) charge high fees and how the guides need tips to provide for their families. He then suggested 30-60 soles per person, which I later realized reflected roughly 100%-200% of what I paid to book the tour. That is a very high tipping margin for Peru. I've also been in this country for almost two months and never had a guide tell me how much I should tip. I've given this kind of amount in tips for walking tours that were free to book, not ones that already charged a price. Though the guide technically didn't force us to give him a certain amount, it felt uncomfortable to tip less, as he also said he would take EUR or USD and offered to take us to an ATM if we didn't have enough cash. I also couldn't help but wonder if the English-speaking group was expected to give more tips because of where we come from. I understand that these platforms take a significant percentage of revenue, but I would have preferred to know how much would be ideal for tipping before going on the tour. I had already allotted how much cash I wanted to use in Arequipa, so I ended up having to go to an ATM the next day so I would have enough cash to tip guides for other tours and got charged extra fees. Again, the tour was enjoyable, but I probably wouldn't recommend this one to a friend because of the way they handle tipping. I felt a bit manipulated.
This was a fun walking tour. The guide was great and very informative and showed some fun spots during the tour.

Guides with yellow umbrella were amaizing. Very informative, cheerfull, good energy and a lot of stories and advices.
It is a very good experience, in the end we were asked for an extra tip but in reality still, the tip is little, considering everything they let us know in these two hours of tour, places that I never visit in other cities, really Arequipa is wonderful, I recommend it super
The pronunciation of English of the guide was not good enough. He is very knowledgeable, none native English will not understand and native will need to ask repeats
Guide service considered average even if the visit was still interesting. The thread is not identifiable in the comments. Comment to structure

I would like to give this tour a review, however I was not met by the tour operator at the meeting point and no response to my whatsapp messages, therefore lost my payment.
We had a very good time walking around the city center and our guide was excellently. We learned a lot about the city, the history and the people of Arequipa, so we were very satisfied.
Our walking tour was very memorable. We got to see many of the sights of Arequipa with excellent commentary and background explanations. This is a very good way to get familiar with the city for a longer visit.
