Pasea por los barrios locales de Chora, la ciudad principal de Naxos, y aprende sobre la vida local. En compañía de tu guía, harás las rondas del mercado local de productos de la manera en que lo hacen los Naxos. Escoge y elige tus propios productos locales, frescos y de temporada, llenos de fragancias, colores y sabor. Le darás un buen uso a tus verduras durante el curso de cocción que seguirá. Tu ruta te llevará a las callejuelas empedradas del castillo de Chora. Visite las tiendas locales y pruebe diferentes tipos de quesos y licores. Su caminata terminará en una pequeña taberna tradicional donde conocerá a nuestro talentoso chef. Ella le mostrará paso a paso, cómo hacer aperitivos tradicionales y la famosa ensalada griega. A continuación, viene la mayor parte de la gira. Todos nos sentaremos a compartir los platos que usted mismo preparó, junto con otro plato tradicional griego preparado por nuestro chef. Levantaremos nuestras copas, brindaremos entre nosotros y disfrutaremos de un día dedicado a disfrutar y experimentar.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
La hora de inicio del recorrido está fijada a las 10.00 horas para los huéspedes que no deseen utilizar nuestro servicio de recogida y opten por reunirse con nosotros en el punto de partida. Para los huéspedes que elijan el complemento de recogida y devolución, se les enviará la hora de recogida el día antes del recorrido; será aproximadamente a las 09:15 (dependiendo de la ubicación de su alojamiento). y el recorrido comenzará a las 10.00 horas.

Amazing tour and fabulous guide! Our family of 4 with 2 teen girls really enjoyed our day exploring Naxos with our guide Hector. Hector was laid back and super approachable and is a wealth of knowledge! He provided a lot of info without overwhelming us and also snapped some pics throughout the day that were later shared with us. The cooking class was a lot of fun and the end results were delicious! The Greek “grandmother” who led the class was very kind. The tour group provides you with the recipes of the dishes prepared as well as a few Greek traditional recipes. I communicated with Anastasia via email in the main office to ensure my daughter’s food allergies could be accommodated and she was so helpful in assuring us that my daughter could fully participate. If you book, I’d strongly suggest to request Hector. He was an excellent guide.
We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Hector, gave us a glimpse of local life, the history of the island, and the wonderful food. He was fun, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and interesting. We shopped for local vegetables, tasted local cheeses, walked through the old town, and finished with a fun cooking class and a delicious lunch. We would highly recommend this tour!
This cooking class was super fun! We got a walking tour of the less touristic parts of the town and got to buy the veggies from a local shop. We made a delicious meal with a local Yiayia which was so cool and memorable!
A wonderful experience! We learned a lot about the history and culture of Naxos and the cooking class was fun. I have reproduced the Tsatziki at home:-). The food was delicious as well. I highly recommend booking this activity
Very enjoyable walking tour of Naxos town that ends in a cooking class. Hector was a good guide and it was a great way to spend a morning and to orient yourself to town. Suggestions for improvement: I think the walking tour portion could be shortened to 90 mins without losing any of the experience. I also think the market visit could be skipped; I expected it to be a market but was just a vegetable store, so didn’t really add anything to the tour.
The cooking class was the best. The walking tour was too long by an hour. By the end it felt like stalling bc wasn’t supposed to be at restaurant before certain time. It was expensive.
Hector was a great guide and very informative. The cooking class was great. We made all the dishes we loved during our trip and then got to sit and eat it. It was the highlight of our trip.
We enjoyed our tour with David a great deal and this was certainly one of the highlights of our trip to Greece. It was wonderful learning about the history and culture of Naxos, and having the opportunity to taste cheese and kitron, in addition to the walking tour and cooking class. The cooking class was a lot of fun! David took pictures and sent them to us, as well as all the recipes of the dishes we made and experienced. He is knowledgeable and also so personable that you feel like you've been friends for a long time. I highly recommend this tour!
David, our tour guide, told us a lot and enthusiastically about the history and customs of Naxos during the walk through Naxos city. The cooking class was n nice experience, traditional dishes we cooked under the guidance of an experienced local cook. After cooking we had a nice dinner and could taste everything. This tour is highly recommended!!!
This was a great way to get to know Naxos. You walk through all the neighborhoods along the coast/in Chora and enjoy their quaintness. Then you stop at a market to pick out food. You then walk to a restaurant where a Naxian family teaches you to cook traditional dishes. Our 3 adults and 3 kids (ages 11, 9, 7) all really enjoyed that part! The tour and walking was little long for the younger kids but they endured it with breaks to pet all the cats! Our guide, Hector, was patient and very knowledgeable and gave us great info on all the things we saw!
