Lexington walking food tour is amazing! Our guide was so knowledgeable on Lexingtons history and the food was good. I highly recommend! Only thing to note, the tour states online that it’s about an hour & a half. It’s definitely more like three hours. Not a bad thing, but important if to note if you have time restrictions. Also, wear comfortable shoes.
Fantastic tour guide; perfect restaurant choices
This was a very fun day filled with interesting information and delicious food! It is not too much walking for anyone and is very well organized.
Show up very hungry! There’s also some history lessons during the tour. Excellent 3 hours! Highly recommend. Elena our guide was so knowledgeable and a pleasure to spend time with.
Fun tour through charming Lexington, though the price seemed a bit high for the foods that we sampled. Loved our guide, Lilly. You can tell she enjoys talking about her city. We stopped at five eateries, three of which we enjoyed greatly. We even went back to one, Agave & Rye, the next night for dinner ! The Greek place was boring, like a fast food restaurant, and our final destination, The Grove, was disappointing. For our charcuterie plate, we got one piece of cheese, a slice of bread, one raspberry and half of a strawberry. I would hope the company would pick a better representation of Lexington, especially for the last stop of the tour.
First off I have to say our tour guide Caroline was top-notch! She was knowledgeable, friendly, and very fun and kept the group on target and did a good job holding everyone’s attention. No easy task for this group of seven! Most of the places we went to we would absolutely seek out again. She also gave great recommendations to other fun things to see and do in Lexington! She loves her City and knows it well. We would all highly recommend Caroline and this tour!
We had family in town and thought this would fun. It was fantastic! Caroline was amazing with her choices for food stops, her knowledge of Lexington was very interesting and what a fun person. I would highly recommend her and the tour. We will be trying their other options.
Very fun and informative exploration of Lexington's downtown area, stopping at several restaurants along the way. Our guide shared many fun facts / history. The transition into each restaurant was seamless and food was so good. Portions were large so come hungry!! We have done similar food tours before in other towns and always enjoy them. Highly recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed our downtown Lexington food tour with Bites of the Bluegrass!! Our lovely host, Lilly, did an amazing job narrating our adventure with entertaining and informative history of the area. The tour didn't focus on traditional Kentucky foods but instead featured a variety of international cuisine options available in the downtown Lexington area that showcased the influence of more recent foreign integration into the community there. Highly recommended!!
Lily did a great job. We ate some wonderful food and learned lots of interesting information about Lexington, Kentucky.
