Descubra el corazón de Arequipa en este tour inmersivo a pie. Comenzamos en el vibrante Mercado de San Camilo, un colorido centro de la vida diaria lleno de productos, sabores y tradiciones locales. Luego, camine por encantadoras calles hacia la Plaza Principal, donde su guía compartirá la rica historia de una de las plazas más hermosas del Perú. Visita a la Iglesia y Claustro de La Compañía de Jesús, hogar de la impresionante cúpula de San Ignacio, una obra maestra del arte colonial. Continúe hacia un tambo del siglo XVII, un complejo habitacional tradicional que revela el pasado colonial de la ciudad. Finalmente, explore el impresionante Monasterio de Santa Catalina, una ciudad dentro de la ciudad, con más de 300 años de historia fascinante. Su guía le ayudará con su entrada antes de despedirse.

Itinerario
Nuestro tour comienza visitando el popular mercado de San Camilo, declarado Patrimonio Histórico en 1977 y donde se pueden encontrar muchos productos como comestibles, flores, ropa y otros artículos de calidad a bajo costo. Este es un lugar lleno de color, actividad, variedad de sabores, que muestran un poco la vida cotidiana de nuestra ciudad.
Luego continuaremos caminando hacia el centro de la ciudad (Plaza Principal) explorando las calles del centro de la ciudad y llegaremos a la Plaza Principal de Arequipa, donde su guía le dará una introducción histórica de una de las plazas principales peruanas más hermosas.
Continuaremos nuestro recorrido, visitando la iglesia y el claustro de La Compañía de Jesús, este Claustro e Iglesia son toda una unidad, con semiarcos de pesadas pilastras totalmente decorados en los cuatro lados. Cada lado exhibe relieves idénticos, de tres gruesos racimos de uvas, papayas, conchas, cantutas, rosas, uvas etc. En la Iglesia visitaremos la famosa Cupula de San Ignacio; una capilla tan hermosa que es un ejemplo de arte colonial arequipeño.
Caminaremos hasta el Monasterio de Santa Catalina; monumento que pertenece a los atractivos más importantes de la ciudad de Arequipa, manteniendo tras sus centros comerciales más de tres siglos de historia.

Had an amazing time with Giardino Tours. Right from the moment I made an inquiry to the website, the booking lrad Lisbet was prompt with her responses, helpful and designed the ideal private tour for me. Upon arrival to Arequipa, my guide Sam was super responsive via WhatsApp as some of my plans had changed. Sam was an excellent guide who is a born and raised local, and had a wealth of knowledge and insight to share. Responsive to my requests during our tour, including a stop to drop off Laundry. 5 stars+ - couldn't recommend Giardino Tours enough!

We had a fabulous time with our guide Brian. He was punctual and extremely knowledgeable about Arequipa. The expertise and enthusiasm that he conveyed as we went through the monastery was infectious and it was an incredible experience. The city walk in Arequipa was very beautiful and culture. We've been through several buildings. Our guide Stephanie really tried, she talked about the different architecture and also the history. She's one of the best. We enjoyed very much and feel like all the city
