Waikiki : Turtle Canyon Morning Snorkel & Sail | Oahu

Our journey was absolutely perfect! We took the short walk to the catamaran, climbed aboard and made a short trek to the Turtle site. Once everyone was in the water, we swam a very short distance to discover one very large sea turtle popped up to the surface. One in our party unfortunately got a little seasick and returned to the catamaran where she was well accommodated. Our sea buddies aka “life guards” were knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to also swim with the fishes but not in ominous way….just a large variety of fishies that came to hang out and see who was in their home. Once we all returned, the sails came out and we just did some chill sailing past Diamond Head before setting sail back to shore. The crew was outstanding. If I could give more than 5 stars I absolutely would. There were little ones out there out swimming some of the adults so it’s absolutely a family friendly adventure for all ages.

My Niece and I had a wonderful time! The crew was awesome and made us feel safe and comfortable. We first went out and swam at turtle canyon which had turtles (of course) and a thousand fish swimming around! We got some really cool videos of this! After, we relaxed and sailed for a while enjoying the cool breeze of the oceans and the sights of Waikiki coastline. I highly recommend!

The guys were great and friendly ! The snorkel spot was crowded on the 9am with others there that shouldn’t have been. They made the call to take a little ride and wait, which I appreciated. Once we did get in they were helpful to locate some turtles. There were only 2 when we went, but happy we were able to see some. Plenty of fish though. Would recommend them to others though!

What an amazing experience. We headed straight to Turtle Canton and got in the water. I saw 4 turtles but there were many more. I was just not quick enough to see the others. Fish were plentiful and the turtles just go about their business. The guides in the water from Holokai Catamaran kept an eye on us all and pointed out turtles when they surfaced. How they knew who we all were was amazing. Service on the catamaran was fab. Drinks were readily available. The crew were professional and polite at all times. They even went round taking pics of you and your party. We went for a sail up and down the Waikiki coast after the snorkelling so it was great to be on the sea. I would totally recommend this trip. It provides great memories of your time in Hawaii - thank you Holokai Ohana.

Was lots of fun! They do provide essential oils to help with motion sickness. Our guides were great and we saw quite a few sea turtles. We did the 9:00am tour. We had plenty of time to snorkel in the water and afterwards we sailed towards Diamond Head. It was a great experience.

The entertainment was excellent, and the food was very good I would recommend this luau It’s a definite for Hawaii

We did the early Turtle snorkelling cruise on Holokai yesterday (Saturday 9/5/26). As we are guests at Outrigger Reef Hotel, it was very convenient to be able to book the tour from the convenient shop in the Lobby. The lass there was able to give us great information on the tours available, and we were able to get a discount as we were hotel guests. The tour was amazing. The weather was perfect - no wind and ideal conditions. We got to see many turtles with the guidance of Aslin, who was a great guide in the water. The boat was clean and well presented, it was well organised with snacks and beverages. The provided safety equipment and briefing gave us peace of mind, and the provision of snorkelling equipment was very good. We enjoyed the sails being hoisted for a nice cruise experience. Boarding and disembarking the vessel was so easy and close to our accommodation. Thanks to the 3 very personable and able staff who were aboard to make it such a pleasant morning.
