It was an amazing experience! Really, I'm a little bit scared first time but then you find that you are flying as a bird! You can feel the wind, you can see the beautiful lakes below you and understand that you are free! Go on!
Booked to go with wife when arrived had only booked one person then told at 110kg I was to heavy ??? Really un proffesional !! Avoid this company !! Clearly states 2 persons on booking no confusion on our part . And at 110 kg I could have flown with a lighter pilot !!! I’ve been in business my self for over 35years and granted human error we all make mistakes .. How as a business we rectify and correct is important going forward !! You made very little effort to rectify!!!!!!
We're sorry for the confusion and for your disappointing experience. It was not clear during the booking process that you intended to fly as well, and we apologize for that misunderstanding. We did our best to accommodate you by trying to arrange another flight about an hour later. However, after assessing the conditions and equipment, we determined that, at 110 kg, it would not have been safe to proceed. Safety is always our highest priority, and we cannot make exceptions when weight and conditions could affect a safe flight. Our weight limit is set by 90 Kg under certin condition we exdent it to max 100 kg. We noted that the staff put accidental 2 person on the ticket but only charged for one. we talked to the staff and will be more clear in the future. We understand your frustration and regret that the situation was not communicated more clearly. Thank you for your feedback—it will help us improve our booking and communication processes.
Amazing experience with Nick! The photos and videos were well worth the money. The views were incredible and the flight time was about 20 minutes. Nick had 10yrs experience and I would go again with Nick anytime. Thanks again.
This was such an amazing experience!! 100/10 would do it again in a heartbeat. Dave was an amazing pilot, and I felt safe the entire time. Felt like I was on Disney World’s “Soarin’” ride but a million times better. Truly a dream experience
Wonderful experience! Really convenient location, nice shuttle to launch point, and my guide was great (Ritchie). It seems to be a little more expensive than other options in the area but offers the shuttle. The photos were 60 Swiss francs and turned out really nice. He let us look through them before purchasing.
Paragliding is a phenomenal experience. One that should be enjoyed by anyone able to do it. Swiss Paragliding did a fantastic job of making this completely effortless. They literally take care of everything! I loved the experience. The only negative is that the flight felt much shorter than 20-30 minutes. I had no watch on so it could have been perception. I paid for the 1100m take off to get extra time and everyone went to same location to take off. I didn’t ask anyone which plan they paid for so it could be entirely coincidental. I also did a rapid spiral which drops altitude quickly. So it is entirely possible that it everything was as advertised and my perception was altered because of the amazing thrill. Even so, I definitely recommend this to everyone! Opportunity of a lifetime.
Do not recommend! I would strongly caution anyone from making paragliding reservations with Swiss Activities - paragliding. They were extremely unhelpful and the customer service was horrific. At 7:10am on Tuesday June 2nd, I reserved a same day flight for 8:15am that morning at the interlaken location. This was done in error and when I realized the mistake 30minutes after making the reservation, I contacted their customer service immediately and asked to reschedule for a later date or cancel. The response I received from Dave was extremely disappointing. “this is not possible. we organised all Team members for you we have a strict cancellation policie”. I find it hard to believe they “organized all team members” within 30 minutes and that their unwillingness to help resolve the issue was extremely poor customer service. The ticket was not cheap and missing out on the opportunity to paraglide for the first time over a simple error was very disappointing. I would highly recommend looking at alternate companies when considering paragliding in the area.

Pilots, drivers, meeting points, and flight allocations are coordinated based on confirmed reservations. In your specific case, your booking was made for a departure just over one hour later. While we understand that the reservation was made by mistake, last-minute cancellations or changes are unfortunately not covered by our policy. What is perhaps worth mentioning is that we did not intend to simply cancel your opportunity to fly. We offered to move your flight to a later departure on the same day, which would have allowed you to enjoy the experience despite the booking error. Unfortunately, this option was declined. We genuinely regret that we could not meet your expectations on this occasion. Our team works hard to provide a safe and memorable experience for every guest while applying the same rules fairly and consistently to all customers. This was an incredible experience from start to finish. We met our pick up van at outdoor interlaken across from the field where we land. This was a strait 5-10 min walk from Interlaken Ost. Our driver was prompt about 5 min early. We road up with our 5 pilots who were personable and professional. Once at our take off site overlooking Interlaken, about 20 min up the mountainside, we each randomly chose a pilot, set up and took off. We are a family of 5 with a small 12 year old, a 14 year old and a 6'1" 16 year old. What amazed me most was that after landing together in the field back where we were picked up, each of my family members described a flight perfectly tailored to what they wanted to do. The pilots held conversations during the flights taking interest in my kids' interests and made the flights personal and as much or little adventure as they wanted. That personal touch is hard to find, bit these guys had it! Thanks for making our family adventure so special!
I'm 64, was a little nervous, but this was spectacular. You will not be be disappointed!!!! Nick was my pilot....he was meticulous, friendly and fun! Just do it!!!
The guides were friendly and made us feel comfortable throughout the entire experience . Nick was especially fun to be around and explained everything well. I recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure in interlaken !
