Siendo el volcán más joven de Centroamérica, entró en erupción por última vez en 1999, pero tenga la seguridad de que está vigilado de cerca para su seguridad. La recogida es en cualquier hotel o punto de encuentro en la ciudad desde donde comenzaremos nuestra aventura. Está a 40 minutos en coche del volcán. Utilizo vehículos totalmente asegurados y acreditados con un conductor profesional todo el tiempo.

Amazing value for money, we were driven right to the base of the volcano and Franklin guided us up to the top making it easier for an inexperienced hiker like myself to take part. He had great energy and motivated me to keep going when hiking up. Once at the top we were able to take some amazing photos before the best part, sliding down! The boards were brought up by the Vamos team which I was very grateful for. Franklin also took videos of each of us which he provided immediately after. Truly a once in a lifetime experience!

Huge recommendation. Franklin was a champ in keeping the mood up, providing us input on the volcanoes and their history, and taking banger photos and videos and generally on ensuring a fun and (not to forget) safe experience - even including music and a short salsa lesson on top of the summit. A memorable and fun day to say the least. 🤠

It was honestly a great experience. Walking up wasn’t as challenging as I thought it would be. Not having to carry up the board made it so easy. All we had to carry was the gear that was light weight. I also loved that helmets were provided as other groups up there didn’t have any. Made me feel like my safety was a priority to the company. My belongs were secure in the vehicle and I loved that they took videos and photos through out so I could enjoy the experience as well I took my own phone and water up and they had a porter bring it all back down. They are very detailed go through how to take the board down the volcano safely and also make sure we go one at a time as to continue being safe. It was great experience!

An amazing, must do experience if you are in Lèon. Actually worth a visit to Lèon only for this experience. The guide Franklin was amazing, bringing music and making it all fun. The hike was beautiful by itself, only lasted 45 minutes. We started off as the first group, and wasn’t bothered by bigger groups going after us. The sandboarding was so much fun and would do it again and again. Private vehicle with aircon was also a plus. Top experience, highly recommended going with Franklin who also shared great pictures and videos after!

Sledging down a volcano was one of the most exhilarating experiences I’ve ever had. I was genuinely nervous before starting and wasn’t sure if I’d go through with it, but once I set off, the excitement completely took over. The combination of speed, incredible scenery, and the unique thrill of descending an active volcano made it unforgettable. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and ended up being one of the highlights of my trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an adventure!

Miguel was the best tour guide we have ever had! So kind, passionate about Nicaragua and has excellent English. The volcano boarding was such a fun experience - definitely once in a lifetime. You can go as slow or as fast as you like. The private tour made the trip for us, we asked loads of questions and Miguel had all the answers. The driver was an excellent wildlife spotter on the drive to the volcano, not to mention the 4x4 had aircon.
