Disfrute de este viaje a Los Miravalles donde observará el cráter activo de un volcán con macetas de barro y temperaturas que varían de 104° a 212°F (40° a 100°C). Podrás hacer uso de los baños de barro en el spa exterior/natural, sauna, y tres piscinas termales donde podrás aprovechar la riqueza de propiedades que tienen estas aguas de origen volcánico.

Durante esta excursión de un día podrá ver el humo, las piedras calientes y el azufre cristalizado, entre otras bellezas escénicas del volcán Miravalles. Una montaña virgen cubierta de selva tropical nos permitirá visitar de manera segura el único cráter transitable en Costa Rica. La primera parada en el camino hacia el volcán será visitar una de las cascadas más hermosas del país, Llanos del Cortez. ver el perfil de la imagen (Cargo adicional de $ 7 en efectivo para adultos- $ 4 en efectivo para niños) y si lo desea, puede traer sus trajes de baño y nadar bajo la majestuosa cortina de agua. La siguiente parada será el cráter en Miravalles, donde verás mucha actividad geotérmica y sentirás el poder de debajo de nosotros. Tendrá un baño de lodo volcánico y se relajará en las aguas termales antes del almuerzo y luego experimentará la selva tropical en una caminata moderada a lo largo de impresionantes puentes colgantes y tres cascadas más (Incluido en el paquete). Este es un día lleno de cataratas y la experiencia del volcán. Piscinas de lodo burbujeante: Las piscinas de lodo burbujeante son agujeros que contienen lodo de arcilla. Estas piscinas de lodo, que también tienen aguas termales sulfuradas, tienen diferentes temperaturas: 176º, 212º y 392º F (80º, 100º y 200ºC). Este barro es inodoro y se puede encontrar en tres colores diferentes: gris, marrón y amarillo. La coloración indica la profundidad de la piscina: el lodo marrón indica una profundidad de dos metros, el lodo gris una profundidad de un metro y el lodo amarillo indica que el lodo proviene de la superficie y está lleno de azufre. Puede seleccionar la arcilla en la que desea bañarse y luego obtenerla de la piscina de barro burbujeante. Mientras esperas 15 o 20 minutos a que el barro te enfríe, puedes disfrutar de una de las maravillas más grandes del mundo. Después de bañarte en este lodo volcánico, tu piel quedará fresca y tersa. ¿Que traer? Carlos was a great guide! We loved the cable bridges and waterfalls! Lunch was good. We saw 2 sloths and some howler monkeys.

The guide was very informative and nice. The hike felt a little rushed. And advertising a volcano, and not getting to get to hike it or get close to it was disappointing. The water fall and views were beautiful. The hot springs experience was nice, but also felt rushed. The wildlife was awesome to see.

This was the last stop on our tour that started at the sloth sanctuary and went to the coffee and chocolate farm and then ended with the waterfall. We walked down the steps into the waterfall area, which was beautiful, but really just stayed about 20 minutes or so then left.
This reviews does not reflect our tour. First of all, we do not offer coffee or chocolate tours on this tour. This person chose the wrong company for this reviewed. Judge for yourselves by reading the tour description, which does not mention anything about chocolate or coffee tours. We reported the comment to Tripadvisor but it was so poor that they decided to stay, They did not take the minimum time to investigate, but 5 minutes after reporting, they responded that they had investigated, which they did not. It's frustrating to know that anyone can comment on your business and harm you, and Trip Advisor doesn't help you at all. I don't recommend anyone work with Trip Advisor or Viator...scam. I suggest you book directly with the company.
Our guide was great and very informative about the area. I loved crossing the swinging bridge to get to the waterfall. The authentic Costa Rican lunch was great as were the hot springs and mud bath.

For our last day in Costa Rica we decided to have a full day out to see the Miravalles Volcano and springs as well as tour the waterfalls (with an additional stop to see the Llanos del Cortez waterfalls on the way). A well organised tour with decent lunch and mix of sightseeing and spa activities at the volcano itself. Our 6 year old enjoyed the day especially the short hike to the Miravalles waterfalls. Andreas was our guide and looked after us for the day. Would definitely recommend this activity.
