After meeting, we will go by subway to Lantau Island. We will enjoy the views of the great bridges of Hong Kong, the port, its overcrowded areas and a terraced cemetery.
Take the scenic Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car, enjoying a 25 minutes ride with the most incredible views of Lantau Country Park, the airport and Macau bridge. We will choose the crystal cabin to make the experience unforgettable!
Climb the 268 steps that will take you to the base of the Big Buddha and receive his blessing. Listen to his history, the teachings of Buddhism, the meaning of the offerings and learn about spirituality in Hong Kong.
Visit one of the most important and old Buddhist temples in Hong Kong: the Po Lin Monastery and the 10,000 Buddhas Hall. You can burn incense and ask for wishes, or simply admire its impeccable architecture.
Explore Ngong Ping Village where we will have time to buy beautiful souvenirs and have lunch.
Visit Tai O, an old fishing village famous for its stilts houses, fishing culture and dry products. Explore its narrow streets with incredible photo opportunities, try traditional meals and experience the atmosphere of a very authentic place. We will take a boat ride to admire the bridge that will connect Hong Kong with Macau and Zhuhai, and, if we are lucky, we might be able to spot the pink dolphins. It will be a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We will return to Tung Chung by ferry or bus to take the subway back to the hotel or place of your preference.

- Caminata: Se recomienda estar preparado para una caminata moderada durante todo el recorrido (entre 4 y 10 km), por lo que sugerimos usar calzado cómodo. En algunos trayectos del tour, es posible reducir las caminatas tomando un taxi (no incluido en el precio del tour).
- Tours 5 horas: El itinerario detallado corresponde a los tours de 6 y 8 horas. La opción de tour de 5 horas no incluye la visita al Pueblo de Tai O; el itinerario solo incluye la visita al Gran Buda y al área del Monasterio Po Lin.
- Visita al Buda Gigante: Para acercarse al Gran Buda, es necesario subir 268 escalones. Sin embargo, también se puede apreciar la impresionante figura desde la base de las escaleras sin necesidad de subir.
- Teleférico Ngong Ping: En ciertas ocasiones, el teleférico Ngong Ping estará en mantenimiento o no podrá ser utilizado debido a condiciones climáticas adversas (vientos, relámpagos y señal de tifón 3 o superior). En tal caso, recurriremos a un medio de transporte alternativo.
- Condiciones climáticas: En caso de señal de Tifón 8 o superior, o de alerta roja o negra de lluvia, el tour será automáticamente cancelado y se reembolsará el total del importe pagado. De haber disponibilidad, se coordinará el tour para una fecha alternativa.

It was an interesting experience—one of those you feel you have to do, and I do think it was something we needed to do. However, it doesn’t have the mystique one might expect; it’s a very commercial attraction. It doesn’t feel authentic—it’s more like a Buddha-themed Disney.
