The Covid 19 situation is bad in Estonia and not so bad in Finland. Although we visited Tallinn to shop things. We were shopping and had masks on. This journey was postponed from April 2020.
Guide's knowledge was amazing. Both parts of the trip - coach and foot were full of information. Highly recommend.
While our guide provided a good insight into the history of Tallinn, she was somewhat disinterested in answering any questions we posed. It seemed as if there was a script that needed to be delivered and she was not going to deviate from this. We would have been better with a prerecorded audio tape. We were the only couple on the tour and it would have been nice if she introduced herself to us and at least asked our names. Most guides I have encountered on these type of tours will try to engage with their participants, but not this woman. If you do this tour, hopefully you will be greeted by someone a little bit more enthusiastic and with a few more people skills.
The actual tour was OK... but connecting with the tour bus was very difficult. The description had several options but in reality there was only which was where the tour starts. This was confusing to others as well.
If I hadn't taken this tour I would have thought Tallinn was only half as interesting and one-third as large. Tour guide was especially generous in responding to my personal interests.
The Guy had a very good knowledge of the history of the city and I felt took me to the important historical places. I then had a general trip around the outskirts which gave an insight into the Soviet period as well as some of the current important entertainment venues.

The guide was very uninspiring and due to her age forgot things at time.

I was the only customer, so had a private tour. That would have been great, except I had trouble understanding my guide with her thick accent. If the guide was easier to understand

The tour was interesting. The explanation could be deeper.

The part with the bus was dissapointing. We have seen the Kadriorg Park only from the bus. I would exchange a glance on the old buildings after olympic games for a short walk around Kadriorg Park. The tour guide and walking part were good.
