Absolutely seamless pick up and drop off. The castle was amazing as was our driver, Christopher! We had a great morning!
Dear Leilah, We really appreciate your wonderful feedback. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the tour — thank you for choosing MrShuttle! All the best, Gabriela from MrShuttle
Very nice visit to the medieval Malbork Castle, Unesco World Heritage Site largely rebuilt after the war, the tour with Audioguide in Italian (included in the ticket) is amazing, it is activated automatically as you move around the various areas of the castle, with further tips on the screen, impossible to go wrong. The tour lasts about three hours, we visited it in early December, the interior rooms well heated despite it being 2 degrees. Interesting exhibition on Ex libris and amber. The only great rudeness on the part of the clerk at the checkout.
Dear Traveller, Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed visiting Malbork Castle, especially the Italian audio guide, the exhibitions, and the comfort of the indoor areas. We’re sorry to read about your experience at the ticket office, however, please note that museum staff are not under our direct responsibility. Thank you for choosing us, and we look forward to seeing you again! Best wishes, Gabriela from MrShuttle
This was an easy train journey from Gdansk. When you come out of the station in Malbork turn right and walk through the town up the hill. Signage is not great. The castle is large and a bit confusing to make your way around to all the rooms. We paid to go up the tower but did not find how to enter. Ask questions. The castle is large and their are many rooms to explore. The narrative is informative. It explains about the summer and winter areas, security and how staff was never allowed in some areas.
Hi, thank you for your review, but I do not think this is about our tour. Our tour is provided by a minivan, accompanied by a live guide or an audioguide. Regards, Zuzanna MrShuttle
Decided to visit during our stay in Gdańsk. Decided to take the train and walk to castle. Easy to buy tickets for train, they were cheap, train very comfortable and got a free bottle of water. Arrived at Malbork and had been told, easy to find castle. Expected to see it signposted from station which it wasn’t and had to use map on phone. Only a short walk but would have helped with signage. The castle is huge. We took the audio guided tour and have to say it is the best one I have ever done. Just enough information to inform about the castle but not overloaded. “Jacob” spoke at a nice pace and easy to follow. Allowed you to go at your own pace which was great. It takes about 2 hours but also suggested a good time to have a break which was helpful. We were there in April so it that busy which meant we could take our time and see everything. Short walk back and onto the train back to Gdańsk.
Great experience! Strongly recommend to visit this place ! So much history! Our guide Christof was excellent, he explained so many things and made the trip to the Malbork Castle Unforgettable!
Dear Maria, Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! We're delighted you had a great experience and truly appreciate your recommendation. Hope to see you again in the future! Gabriela MrShuttle
The castle is an incredible site. Its sheer size is unbelievable. I believe it is built across 52 acres, which is mind-blowing. We bought tickets with the audio guide, which was a great experience as the explanations of the various rooms, artefacts, and exhibits are invaluable. You need to be a little physically able to navigate the various steps, so please be aware. It was a wonderful experience, with so much history since the 13th century. The castle actually took over 200 years to be built, so you can imagine the history. In terms of location, we took a train from Gdanz to Malbork, which was about 30 minutes, then walked for about 20 minutes to the largest brick build castle in the world. The entrance fee is cheap. From memory, less than 10 Euros each. You can literally spend the whole day there, so be prepared.
Exciting and well guided. We learn a lot in a beautiful place, steeped in history and intelligently designed, just like the visit.
The driver was there. Mr Shuttle cheaper than the others for equal service. Only one regret: the return appointment was given at noon, with a departure at 9 a.m. 3 hours was a little too short, one more would have been needed.
Great experience with this tour. I was picked up at my hotel right on time and driven to the castle. I had a wonderful trip visiting all of the castle's highlights. When I was finished, my driver took me right back to my hotel. All in all it was definitely worth the time seeing the castle from Gdansk.
Very good audio guide in many languages with visual screen on it. Interesting facts of history and castle. Easy navigation to further places. Castle is fascinating with rich exhibition and reconstructed fragments. Castle's size is impressive.
