It was incredible visit to Pompeii in person. Eliana was very knowledgeable and show us the city and its remains and culture clearly. It was really fascinating to know Pompeii through this tour. The Mother Nature preserved this historic site well.
I went with Luisa. She was a great guide and was very knowledgeable.
Amadeo was our incredibly knowledgeable and highly qualified archaeologist and tour guide. He taught us all about the history and culture of the people living in Pompeii. He also was was wealth of information in the details that made the trip so memorable. Highly recommend!!!
We had such an amazing time with Maria she was so knowledgeable and took her time to take us through so many small details.... Would absolutely recommend it is well worth paying the extra
This 3 hour private tour with Luisa was absolutely incredible! It is the only way to go when visiting Pompeii. We learned so much information that we would not have learned on our own or on a regular tour. She is an archaeologist who has excavated this site herself! So worth the time and money. Thank you Luisa!!!
Sandretti Tours at Pompeii was a great selection for our group of 6 adults. We found them through Trip Advisor, "Pompeii Private Tour with an Archaeologist and Skip The Line." First, our tour guide contacted us before the tour and suggested a change in date for our tour. This worked very well as it rained very hard on our original day and the make up day was beautiful and not too hot. Second, our tour guide Amadeo was polite, professional, and a wealth of knowledge. He directed us around the crowds into back alleys and entrances that made our tour less crowded. He shared so much valuable information about Pompeii. We gained knoweldge not just found in a book or via an audio tour. Live and in person was perfect for us. Thank you! 5 stars. We will suggest your tour to anyone.
Luisa was fantastic! Great explanations, very knowledgeable! Perfect for me family with kids!
We had a wonderful time. Nicholas explained and answered all of our questions wonderfully. 10/10. Thank you!
Amadeo was an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable and friendly. He made our trip to Pompeii much more educational and enjoyable.
Very informative and helpful guide! This was definitely worth the money. He really helped us understand life in Pompeii and pointed out things we never would have noticed.
