while featuring very harrowing (but important and educational) content, i feel i took away a lot from this tour of the city. our tour guide, ollie, was excellent, and handled the subject matter very sensitively and appropriately. he took the time to get to know everyone in the group, was very accommodating when we needed something and was more than happy to answer questions. would highly reccomend if you are looking to learn about the history of amsterdam/the holocaust

Great tour Angie was an exceptional guide
Our guide was Clare J, who brought an unusual and moving sensibility to a tour that was already themed around a sensitive and emotional topic. Clare’s clearly deep knowledge, elegant delivery and sensitive handling of the history of Jewish peoples in Amsterdam -including the horrors of the Holocaust- were exceptional. It was a privilege to spend a morning with her. Thank you Clare. A superbly curated -and touching- experience.
