We toured the 2 towns but were unable to do the winery tour because it was closed. This was a very expensive trip and the main thing we wanted to do, the winery tour, was unavailable. After requesting a partial refund (our driver was very kind but there was an obvious error with his agency) we were denied. I would not recommend this tour. It is very expensive for what it is and we were very disappointed. This tour should not be offered in December. Both towns had very little open and when we pulled into the winery, there was no one there and it was very obvious they had no idea we were coming.
Dear Customers, your review is not true, because you refused to enter the winery for the wine tasting and asked to be suddenly driven back to Rome. We have also confirmed the partial refund you asked for, to show our honesty towards Customers. We don't think it is appropriate to answer the comments on Montepulciano and Pienza, two renowned historic towns in Tuscany.
We loved the town of Montepulciano and the Noble wine tour. Our guide was awesome and she spoke great English. We had so much fun and that town was awesome. We thought we were getting lunch and stopping in two more towns. We went to another random winery in the middle of nonwhere to try picnic wine. They were surprised we were there, we waited a long time in the heat , and then we're rushed out. The only food we got was at a highway rest stop. We loved Montepulciano so much we would do it again but the tour is as good as the driver and that combination needs to be managed as ours really let us down. There was definitely a language barrier.

Massimo was our driver and he was fantastic. So polite and professional! We had one stop at a Church before the Canetto winery, then free time in Montepulciano. We did not need a guide in that village and wished we had more time to shop and snack. Drinking great wines on a hillside with Tuscany in the background was magical and a great break from Rome. Daniella at the winery was just lovely and made our experience very special. Even the teens loved this tour.
Thank you for your kind review !
Our guide to Montepulciano, Mr. Stefano, was absolutely wonderful. His knowledge of the area and willingness to explain everything to us was imperative to our trip. We were taken to the Canetto family winery, the lady that took care of us was Daniela, she was so sweet and knowledgeable. We really had a great experience, sipping noble wines on the side a hill, overlooking the very acreage and people that produced the wonderful wines we got to enjoy😊. If you like wine and nice people, this is the tour for you. Thank you, Troy and Nicole Franklin
Thank you for your kind review. We are very proud you appreciated our tour. Looking forward to see you soon in Rome
The pleasant young driver arrived promptly at our hotel in a nice comfortable car. Bottled water was not offered or provided. "Lunch" was to be provided, a cheese and meat board was served at the winery during our tasting which I would not consider to be "lunch". The scenery was beautiful, the wine hostess was fabulous and aside from the few short comings it was a great trip to Tuscany.
Thank you for review! We are glad you enjoyed your tour. Our customers' feedbacks are always an opportunity to improve, for us. As for the lunch, it was not included in your reservation. Ivana
Very nice private tour of Tuscany and a single winery with private lunch overlooking the hills of Tuscany. A bit expensive, and no tour guide for the hill-top towns included with the tour. I would still highly recommend the tour.
Thank you for your kind review. We are glad that you enjoyed our Montepulciano Noble Wines Tour. This tour usually includes a private wine tasting experience and free time in hill-top towns like Pienza and Montepulciano. Upon request we can provide the assistance of licensed tour guides
The destinations are beautiful and our driver was great. He was friendly, knew the areas well and told us a lot of the history and what to look for. The van was comfortable and nice to have WiFi for the long drive to and from Rome. Our teenager (13) was board so I believe it is best for adults.
Definitely 5 stars. Driver was exceptional and went out of his way to help us with touristy questions. The winery was absolutely beautiful, staff was not just friendly but made us feel like family! Also loved learning the different procedures for making the varied blends of wine. A very relaxing day after the hectic tours in Rome.
