Excellent guide. Maybe increase from 60 to 90 minutes to cover more artifacts.
Sara was so good so well informed and the backland history and linkages — superb She gave us appropriate time to drink in surroundings before giving us more facts
Riley was amazing and had so much historical and anecdotal knowledge about everything. You could tell she really knew her stuff — and was passionate about it — because no matter how many questions I asked, she never missed a beat. Thank you for such a wonderful experience on the Archives tour!
It was very informative. The only negative was I booked a private tour for 5 and we were put in a small group tour for 7 without being notified.
Your reservation was for a small-group tour, not a private tour. We apologize for the confusion and reviewed our listing for accuracy and cannot find where it says private tour. If you have seen that listed somewhere please reach out at info@unscripted.city so we can ensure our listings are accurate and no one is misled. We do not offer a private tour option on this tour but with your feedback showing interest in such, we will consider adding that as an option.
I hate that I can’t remember her name, but our guide was wonderful! Sweet and super knowledgeable.
Great tour!!! Our tour guide we so knowledgeable and accurate. My daughter is studying for AP US History exam and this was really helpful for her to see the documents and connect it with her studies. We learned about the paintings in the document room and learned facts that likely nobody else notices. I really recommend this tour. This turned out to be the highlight of our trip to DC.
Definitely the way to see the museum because we were able to skip a loooong line outside and inside. Tony also gave very good additional insight on the documents. On the walk over we also got some bonus tour spots. Very knowledgeable.
We're so glad our skip-the-line pass made the tour worth it - plus Tony makes all of his tours worth it!
The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Archive museum. She did a good job of answering questions and letting us have time to look at the US Constitution.
not to book with you. you are the middle man. Skye was runnig late so instead of meeting at 400 7th st. we were instructed to meet at Archives, but he had to go back and pick up others. got tired of waiting and just went inside. would like my money back.
Sorry you chose not to join your tour. We checked the text log and you did not respond to any of the communications from your guide, including where you were asked to confirm the meeting location. So you guide waited for you before beginning tour but you chose to leave before the tour start time.
The guide had the same demeanor as a wet blanket (i.e., depressed and better suited for any other job than one working with the public in a touristic capacity) and repeatedly expressed her political opinions throughout the tour. Also, her idea of “skip the line” was to cut in front of all of the other tourists waiting patiently in line to see the Declaration of Independence and Constitution. There was no special advantage to being a part of this tour, and I felt disgusted and scammed when she told us to cheat others like this. So I’m writing this review in the hope that this company will not cheat future potential customers like I feel they cheated me.
I do not believe this is an accurate description of any of our guides or that you joined our tour as if you did you would know that by "Skip the line" we actually skip the line to the entrance of the National Archives.
