Tras recogerle su guía en su alojamiento, la visita comenzará en el magnífico Hipódromo, antiguo escenario de carreras de carros durante las épocas romana y bizantina. Contemple los monumentos antiguos que aún se conservan, como el Obelisco de Teodosio, la Columna Serpentina y la Columna de Constantino.
Después, visita el lugar más fotografiado de Estambul: la Mezquita Azul. Famosa por su hermoso patio y sus impresionantes minaretes, la mezquita recibe su apodo de los espléndidos azulejos azules que cubren sus paredes interiores.
A continuación, visita el Palacio de Topkapi, residencia de los sultanes del Imperio Otomano. Hoy en día, el Palacio de Topkapi es un espectacular museo que alberga las reliquias más sagradas del mundo musulmán, incluyendo el manto y la espada del profeta Mahoma.
Tras una pausa para almorzar, continuaremos hacia Santa Sofía, una de las joyas arquitectónicas del mundo. Esta antigua basílica, que data del siglo IV, fue la Catedral de Constantinopla durante más de mil años antes de ser convertida en mezquita en 1453; hoy en día funciona como museo.
Pase tiempo en el famoso Gran Bazar de Estambul, el mercado cubierto más grande y antiguo del mundo, donde encontrará todo tipo de regalos, artículos de cuero, ropa, alfombras, antigüedades y joyas en un auténtico ambiente oriental. Disfrute de las vistas, los sonidos y los aromas. Al finalizar la visita, le trasladaremos de regreso a su hotel o al puerto de cruceros.

The private Istanbul City Tour is a wonderful experience, to immerse yourself in the history and interact with the people of Turkey. Our tour guide made us feel very welcome and has over 20 years of experience. We were taken to see more than we expected, going to individual shops and went to see how ceramics are made from clay. Full day. Lots of good info. Sheref Aral was very professional and patient. We were on a private tour, just 2 of us with Sheref. Nice to bypass long lines with skip the lines access.
The tour was very disappointing. The tour guide (Shahnaz) did not provide much explanation; and most of the time was on her phone and left us wondering by ourselves.
