We were lucky that Borjas was again our guide on this fascinating walk through this museum. Their stories and stories catch and make the tour a pure enjoyment! An excellent guide for such a nice walk!

Our guide was KNOWLEDGEABLE—Wow! The content was fantastic even for our family who are art lovers but not scholars.

I don't recommend - they changed the date of my tour a week before my holiday and they give me a Spanish group instead of English - so I had to go by myself. It was a lot of stress and the tour that I was waited for so long time was a nightmare

We booked a Prado (English) tour 48 hours in advance and arrived 10 minutes early. Amanda (our guide) did now show up. We paid to enter the Prado on our own and found her with a group. She claimed she did not know about us being part of the tour and left early since everyone else was there. We called Amigo and they could not contact her. They had us as part of the tour. Amigo promised to refund our payment. 2 weeks later, I had to file a dispute with my credit card company since they did not give me a refund.

The tour was supposed to consist of two parts: the Prado Museum and the Royal Palace. The day before the tour, the company cancelled the visit to the Royal Palace due to some unforeseen circumstances (which was very disappointing by the way, even though they refunded some of the money). So my review is only for the museum part. The guide was on time, a very polite and nice man. However, the tour was both in Spanish and English languages, which did not make any sense. The Spanish speaking people on the tour had to wait for a very long time for the guide to finish his presentation in English at every stop, and then to repeat the same text in Spanish, and vice versa. So, it took twice as much time and the tour kind of lost all the momentum pretty fast. Too much waiting around. The company should just have a separate English language tour. Why would they combine the two together? Prado is one of my favorite museums in the world, and I still enjoyed the visit, but not because of the tour, unfortunately.

Understanding the depth of the PRADO collection, we felt it important to secure a guide to highlight the important pieces in the collection. We were fortunate and had a guide who was able to illuminate our experience beyond anything we could have hoped for on our own.

We booked this tour expecting it to be two hour private tour. We met our guide promptly at 9:45 and entered the museum at 10:00 am. Our guide was excellent at explaining many of the works however, there were some rooms that we skipped as the museum started to get more crowded. After she showed us some of the rooms I was hoping that she would lead us back to the rooms that we skipped but instead she took us around to the area by the gift shop and the cafe and told us we were welcome to look around on our own. We sat down to take a little break and I looked at my watch and realized that it was only 11;30 and not 12 noon when the tour was supposed to end. By the time I realized this, our guide was no where in sight and I had no idea where she went. Anyway I did complain to Viator about this issue and the tour operator refused to issue any type of credit. They claimed that we received the full tour and our guide stayed with us the whole time (which she did not). However, After a lot of back and forth Viator did make good and gave us a credit for part of the tour which is what I was asking for. If you book this tour I would verify with the tour operator exactly how long the tour is so there is no discrepancy. I have booked many tours through Viator in numerous cities in Europe and this is the first time that something like this has happened.
