Un verdadero viaje en el tiempo, una especie de cortocircuito cognitivo y emocional, algo realmente innovador en las nuevas tecnologías aplicadas al patrimonio cultural. 12 pasos con un guía en persona dentro de la Domus Aurea donde se puede admirar el ninfeo, la sala de la bóveda de oro y la gran sala octogonal. Las instalaciones multimedia mejoran la realidad inmersiva y el proyecto basado en vídeo. Durante tu viaje podrás ver una proyección “sensorial” en el hall de entrada y disfrutar de una experiencia de realidad virtual en el Golden Vault Room.

It’s a bit damp and dark inside the Domus Aurea. It didn’t bother us, but prospective visitors should be aware of that. Our guide was engaging and thorough. The history of the Domus Aurea is quite interesting and reminds the visitor that self-aggrandizing rulers are not a new thing.
A wonderful experience. Our guide was clearly an expert and highlighted key features of this amazing building. A must-see experience in Rome.

Our actual tour guide was terrific but the meeting point process was chaotic. The Viator rep assigned to meet our group was late and extremely inefficient in passing out the individual tickets. As a consequence we were late for our 10 am tour and were rushed to keep within our 1.5 hour tour window.
Great tour and wonderful guide. We will do it again next year! The virtual reality headset was a fantastic addition to understanding what the palace was!

This is a simple resale of the tickets taken on the official website. We pay exactly 3 times more for a “visit” that is not made by the organist dealer but by the official guides of the Domus Aurea (while we would have liked this 39€ difference contributes to the maintenance of this monument, rather than to fraudulent organizations). Normally, this is an illegal practice and the Italian authorities should be tougher with its illicit resales.
Here's the thing: the tour was good and guide was good but the tickets where through a seller that is just buying up regular tickets, marking them up from the price of 17Euros to more than $100. All they do is meet you a ways from the venue, and hand you a ticket. I bought a ticket because you could not get a regular ticket (they were sold out) and I had limited time and wanted to go. But I thought they would ADD SOME value, but they did not. I think this is dishonest and Trip Advisor should not be supporting these kinds of scams.
