Continúe arriba para explorar la colección de pintura de clase mundial de la Galería. Admira el sorprendente realismo de Caravaggio, incluyendo a David con la cabeza de Goliat y San Jerónimo. Vea la delicada Dama con un Unicornio de Rafael, el enigmático Amor Sagrado y Profano de Tiziano y el sensual Danaë de Correggio. Esta sección muestra el poder emocional y la belleza del arte italiano.
Después de finalizar su recorrido, disfrute de tiempo libre en una exploración autodirigida de los jardines Borghese. Después de salir de la Galería Borghese, pasee por Viale dei Pupazzi hacia el Templo de Esculapio, un romántico lago rodeado de pinos paraguas y estatuas. Puedes alquilar un bote de remos aquí para una rápida remada o simplemente relajarse y tomar fotos. Luego siga las indicaciones hacia Pincian Hill Terrace (Terrazza del Pincio), uno de los mejores miradores de Roma. The Borghese Gallery is amazing on its own, it can be overwhelming because of the quantity and quality of the art collection. But what made our tour unforgettable was our amazing tour guide, Riccardo! He knew the details, the history, and the "why" behind each piece and made our experience SO much better!! We highly recommend this tour, and ask for Riccardo--he's the absolute bestest!! Entry, tickets, crowd in the gallery, and meeting up were super easy and Riccardo handled the few hiccups with professional grace and kindness. This is easily the best way to see the Borghese!!

The gallery limits to 180 tickets per hour, and you have to leave after 2 hours. Lorena was our guide and she was amazing! She made sure she saw the highlights in our limited time. She explained the Bernini sculptures so that they literally took on life. I learned so much from her and will have a much better appreciation of sculpture in the future.

Actually a beautiful exhibition, but not worth 99 euros or more per ticket. It feels terrible when the ticket can be purchased on-site at Villa Borghese for 16 euros. Yes, you wait 1 to 2 hours, so what? Unfortunately, the organizer is unwilling to end the artificially high ticketing through private intermediaries.

As visits to the Borghesse Gallery are limited to 2 hours, it was great to have a lively, well-informed guide, who ensured that we didn't miss the main highlights. On the positive side, the 2-hour limit meant that the galleries were never too crowded and we could really appreciate the artworks.
