I don’t believe Rove Roman is a Legitimate company. We arrived for a tour and the address on all documents was wrong, “ Via Vespasiano 67” is just a random store, but this is the address on the website and Viator. We messaged via Viator and got no response, I called the number on the company website and the operator hung up and didn’t seem to know what I was asking. The tour company next store ended up saying we were supposed to be there, although the name is different, but our 2pm tour wouldn’t happen and we had to wait until 3:30pm. After we came back we were walked to yet ANOTHER tour company and put in a group for our tour. The guided tour its self was fine, the guide had some good knowledge but would not give money to a company who doesn’t actually do the tours and just farms out clients with no support.
we are so sorry for the inconvinience.... there wae a mistake on our side with the booking confarmation..
Excellent tour. Well worth the effort and money. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed it very much...history learned and visited...
Thanks 🥰
This tour are 100% worth it.👌 When I saw the line I was so happy to be able to walk right in. The staff where I picked up my ticket was very helpful.
Thanks
Our tour started about an hour and a half to two hours late, we received a phone call saying one of their guys didn’t show up so we had to wait an extra hour which ended up being about an hour and a half close to two hours before we got started. I had scheduled a second tour later that day and told the tour guy that we had to leave at a certain time and he said we would have plenty of time to finish the tour. So as the tour started, our tour guide was very informative, but too much informative and it was very slow. About an hour into the tour my wife and I looked at our watch and said we have to leave soon. I told the tour guide that and then he started speeding things up. We did not get to finish our tour because we had to leave. We barely got to see the first half of the tour. With that being said, I tried to ask for a refund and they said we agreed on not to be late, which we had no choice. When I reached out to get a refund, they told me that we agreed on doing a later time, but we didn’t have any other choice. We are from the United States and don’t ever get to travel this far, first time overseas first time in Europe. And their response was after two or three days. Will give you 10% back which equals about $36. I told him that was unacceptable and ask them how their business was still in business with customer service like that. It was like a slap in the face. The tour cost us about $360 and they gave us a whopping $36 back and we didn’t even get to finish half the tour. I would never recommend this company and I would never do the tour guide that we did in Rome, this tour was about seen the Vatican, 16th Chapel in Saint Petersburg and we didn’t even get to see half of the tour and had to rush the other. I would never ever again get anything through Viator.
Confirmed with you?
When I arrived at the meeting place, I realized how much I was overcharged the cost of the tour was $60. I was charged 158 and told that the Basilica had a cost involved which was not the case. It was free. I feel that I should be reimbursed for the difference thank you.
Thanks
The Vatican is an amazing place. We loved seeing St Peters Basilica, Vatican and Sistine Chapel. Our only complaint was the headsets to hear the guide. The sound quality was bad and they kept falling off our ears.
Next time we will try our best
Silvia was a great guide very knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour. Answered all questions. Lovely lady with a good sense of humour. Luisa and Tina
