DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR. Major rip-off! We paid $170 each for a ticket that cost $48 when they gave us our tickets. I understand the booking agency making a profit, but not $120 profit per person. Also, the meeting point given in the tour description is in the wrong part of the city. It was a good thing I contacted the tour agency to double check or we would have missed the tour.
I booked my guided tour for the Vatican Museums with this guy, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The guide was absolutely awesome — knowledgeable, engaging, and very passionate about the history and art. They explained everything clearly and made the entire tour both educational and enjoyable. The meeting instructions were very clear and easy to follow, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Everything was well organized, and we felt taken care of throughout the tour.
Scheduled for 11am we changed at 12.30 am are prior notice.....we arrive at point d3 meeting and we are told in a kind way...return at 12.md......era skip the line....that now I find out is the phrase in English for only 40 min row, then a lovely guide, but everything run through corridors of the museum......anyways all wrong....eye the entrance ticket is worth 25 euros....go buy online and save this ....
This was an incredible experience. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided detailed insights into the Vatican and its rich history
Vivian was exceptionally knowledgeable, kind, & interactive. Would recommend her & “nina” to anyone visiting. Vivian did not rush through the tour and took her time explaining everything in detail. Thank you all for an amazing experience! From- the late group of 6!
The tour itself was ok. But the overall experience was very bad, and disappointing. Our tour said 9:00 am. We went to the location on the app at 8:30 and had no way of knowing where to meet our group. I used the chat and was given an address that was several blocks away from the original one. It was not a true location; just a meeting corner. I called Viator customer service and they agreed with the address provided by the tour operator and said someone would be there by 8:45. I received a call from the tour operator and said someone one be there by 9. He walked up to us at 8:55 and then walked us another couple of blocks to a tour group office. We waited there for a while and finally got our tour started around 9:40 or later. I don’t understand why we were not provided with the specific location for the tour starting point, and why they tour times shifted. I also don’t understand why the communications in advance of the tour and date were not good. The day before I took a tour thru Viator (purchased by my friend) that was a great experience due to the tour operators Crown Tours. This was not a positive experience.
Tour guide was an awesome person, his direction was highly informative, seller was responsible about on time conversion and the give the voucher 3h before the tour
