We loved this tour. Was a great way to start our New York trip. Not only did we see some of the big sights and great views on Manhattan, we also got to see some places that I’d never even heard of before which was great
The best way to see the real New York and Brooklyn if you only have a couple hours. The bikes were good and Glen's savvy knowledge and tour guide wisdom made it the highlight of my brief stay.
Thank you for the fantastic review! We're so glad Glen made your time in New York so memorable — there really is no better way to take in Lower Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridge than on two wheels. We hope to welcome you back on your next visit!
Best way to explore lower Manhattan and Brooklyn in two hours. I recommend Sunday morning for this tour.
Thank you for the great tip and the kind words! Sunday morning really is a wonderful time to explore — quieter streets and a beautiful start to the day. We're glad the tour hit the mark and hope to see you back out on the road again soon!
Great tour by John! Very friendly and knowledgeable.
Fantastic experience, Eddie made it so much fun even in the rain! Learnt so much about the area and his stories are so interesting. 100% recommendation
I only did part of this tour. When we started doing the "slight inclines", I was not able to keep up. When we got to the first bridge, I decided I couldn't continue the tour. The tour guide was nice enough to offer to go slow, but I didn't want the hassle, so my other option was to turn around and find my way back to the meet up place on my own. I took this option since I had google maps on my phone, and I was able to make it back. The description says that there are slight inclines, a moderate amount of activity, and that most travelers can participate. I would suggest to the bike tour company to describe it the way my guide did to me at the beginning, which was much more realistic. The inclines are quite steep in my opinion and past the bridges I was told there are lots of hills. The tour guide was also going pretty fast and I struggled to keep up to the point that I almost lost the group more than once. This is not a leisurely ride and not for people who aren't regular riders in my opinion. That said, the first bit of the tour that I did was good. The guide had some great knowledge of the sights we stopped at and was cool to interact with. The bike was adjustable and comfortable, and helmets were provided as well. Location was easy to find. I enjoyed biking around for a bit, and it would be great for those who bike on a regular basis.
Eddie was a great guide. Tour itself was awesome. The experience at the shop getting the bike was disorganized and not very clear. Could use improvement and better direction. Also would be a good idea to start the tour explaining traffic laws, who has right of way, stop lights, etc.
Class cycle tour. Fun way to see a city. Gunther was very informative providing interesting and different facts of the city. He was very accomodating offering to take photos of each group at different locations.
Thank you for your lovely review! We’re so happy to hear you had a fun time exploring the city by bike—it really is one of the best ways to experience it. Gunther will be especially glad to know you enjoyed his insights and appreciated the extra touches, like helping capture photos along the way. We truly appreciate you joining us and hope to see you again on another ride soon! 🚲
This was a really cool experience. Me and my son learned a lot about the history of the area. Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable. I recommend you have some gloves and dress real warm during the winter.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re delighted to hear that you and your son enjoyed the tour and found it both engaging and informative. It’s especially great to know that our guide helped bring the local history to life in a fun and approachable way. We also appreciate your practical tip about dressing warmly during the winter months—this is very helpful advice for future guests, particularly when conditions can be chilly. Thank you for choosing Unlimited Biking. We hope to welcome you and your family on another tour in the future.
My family and I regularly visit NYC and wanted a different activity. The bike ride was perfect. A little bit of exercise, a little bit of history, and obviously great views. We had a blast.
