We are visitors from Washington, D.C. and had an amazing experience on the Hobbiton Movie Set tour at Alexander Farm. Our guide, Aaron, was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. He gave clear explanations during the comfortable ride from Auckland and made everyone feel welcome. The team provided water, granola, and phone chargers, which was thoughtful. Once at Hobbiton, we had two and a half hours to explore, take photos, and enjoy the scenery. The tour was smooth and well organized, including a light lunch afterward. Yes indeed we loved to be picked up and driven by Aaron. It takes 2hrs to the set from Auckland. He was the best, in many ways. He made us comfortable and on top of what to expect.
