A lovely experience learning about the park. Our guide Emily was well versed in local knowledge and her love of the horses was very sweet. Well worth the trip
What a pleasant way to take in a view of Vancouver’s Stanley Park! I knew nothing about this area, but a sunny day gave us plenty of cause to take in a carriage ride. Simply put, it was one of the nicest hours we had in town. We learned a lot and enjoyed the scenery immensely.
Our tour lead, Laura from Scotland was incredible. Best part of our trip. She truly takes care of the horses and the sightseers. We came back and left her a $40 tip at the booth for the worker to give to her for us. From Lilly and her buckskin horse Rey in NC in the first tour on Sunday 6/14 @ 10:15
This was a fun, very informative carriage ride through the park. The guide was not only extremely knowledgeable, but she was also funny and personable. We thoroughly enjoyed our carriage ride.
It was a beautiful day, very relaxing & informative horse drawn tour. The horses were so cute, we toured around the Stanley park, we saw the girl in a wet suit statue, Victoria the good monument, Robert Burns memorial, lions Gate statue and rose garden, vancouver skyline. Everythjng was breathtaking. The tour guide paused at the waterfront for a few minutes for us to take pictures, totally recommend!
It was amazing! Caroline did a great job showing us the park! Would recommend it to anyone visiting Vancouver!
We had a day to spend in Vancouver, so we decided to go on the horse-drawn wagon ride around Stanley Park. We walked from our b&b in central Vancouver, aiming for the 10:30 scheduled ride, only to arrive and find it was postponed 45 min. because they had to switch out one of the horses. After finally setting off, we were pleased to sit up front next to driver and guide Emily. She was friendly and knowledgable and kept up a running description of the many interesting sites that we passed. We had a brief stop to get down and see the totem poles, then another stop to photograph the "Girl in a Wetsuit" statue. Overall, the ride was enjoyable and filled our late morning in a pleasant manner. (We also met business owner Jerry when he brought the new horse to switch out. He is a real hoot! If you chance to meet him, you're in for a treat.)
The horse carriage ride was wonderful! It gave us a nice overview of the park. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the park and of the horses. We have not been to Vancouver or Stanley park before, so it was good to see all of the highlights. We enjoyed our time with this tour and is well worth it to experience at least once!
A great way to see Stanley Park! Third visit to the park, first time taking carriage tour. We should have done this the Furst Time!!!
Tour guide (sorry I don’t remember her name) was great very informative on the park and on the horses!! Highly recommended!
