Dirigida por un guía naturalista bilingüe certificado, esta caminata de ritmo relajado le invita a descubrir perezosos, monos, aves tropicales, reptiles y otra fauna fascinante mientras aprende sobre los ecosistemas del parque y la historia natural. Su guía lleva un visor de alta definición, que ofrece vistas de cerca de animales a menudo escondidos en el dosel del bosque y la oportunidad de capturar fotos memorables. La parte guiada concluye en la impresionante playa Manuel Antonio, consistentemente clasificada entre las playas más hermosas del mundo, donde podrá relajarse a su propio ritmo antes de salir del parque. La entrada al parque no está incluida y se debe comprar por adelantado debido a los límites de visitantes diarios. Esta es una caminata a un ritmo lento para encontrar la mayor cantidad de vida silvestre posible. Lo acompañará un guía turístico bilingüe certificado que le brindará información sobre la historia natural de los animales, así como sobre la historia y los ecosistemas del área. La guía llevará un catalejo para brindarle una vista cercana de la vida silvestre y las imágenes también. Luego visitará la playa de Manuel Antonio, calificada como una de las playas más hermosas del mundo.

Milton was an amazing guide who was very knowledgeable and showed us all types of plants, animals and wildlife that we definitely would not have seen ourselves. Would definitely recommend the whole experience

Great tour! Our guide Lisandro was amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable. Pictures were taken on one person’s phone for an easy transfer to other people for a keepsake. Lisandro did great at giving us our own tour amongst the crowd and other tours.
We met Milton just outside of the park for a 7am small group tour. It was clear from the start that he was going to be an amazing guide! His knowledge of the park and the diversity in it was unbelievable! Also he was the best at placing the spotting scope for a perfect picture! He made my dreams come true by showing us 3 different sloths! We had good luck with seeing many different animals with his eagle eyes! Thank you for the amazing memories!!
We had an awesome time. Saw monkeys, sloth, snake, crab, lots of other stuff. Learned a ton on the trip. Our guide Diego was the best! It was hot, but lots of shade and water breaks along the way.
Diego was our tour guide and he was amazing! Spoke great English and very knowledgeable about ecology of CR. He was kind, passionate and easy to talk to. 10/10. Paying for a guide in the park is a must!!!!

Wow, this tour was great! It lasted about two hours, which was just the right amount of time-- not so long that you are exhausted by the end (though you'll be ready for a bathroom and water break by then), but not so short that you feel you've missed out on even a little bit. We had Milton as our guide, and he was fantastic-- high energy, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and great at spotting, showing, and explaining the flora and fauna to us. He was so good that he noticed something exceptional (a rare bridal veil mushroom!) by the bathrooms, before we even got onto the trail! There were about ten people on our tour, so it didn't feel impersonal, and everyone had a chance to see everything through the scope and to get pictures (expertly taken by Milton) if they wanted. We saw multiple kinds of lizards, a toucan, several hummingbirds, a baby fer-de-lance, glass frog eggs (SO cool), crabs, an agouti, and so much more. I will emphasize that the only reason we saw this much was because we had Milton with us-- we would've walked right by all of this without him, or, if we had walked by when another guide was pointing things out to their group, we would've been aware that we were missing something but unable to spot it. What I'm saying is that you should 100% book a guided tour here. Also, Manuel Antonio is known as the busiest park in the country for good reason, so I recommend you book an early tour if possible, though Milton will also give you tips on where to explore and have beach time in order to cut down on the crowds, which was kind of him to do. This tour was great, definitely recommend.

Too many people in the park and in the group. So much time was spent taking a picture with everyone's phone through the binocular.

As one of the most visited national parks in Central America, certain days can naturally be busier than others, especially during peak travel seasons. While we can’t control the number of visitors inside the park, we always do our best to keep the tour enjoyable and well organized. Regarding the group size, we intentionally limit our standard shared tours to a maximum of 10 guests (does not fill up every day) which is considerably smaller than many group tours offered in popular destinations (personal experience) For travelers seeking a more personalized experience, we also offer both Small Group and Private Tour options designed to provide additional flexibility and individual attention. As for the time spent observing wildlife through the spotting scope, our guides try to give every guest the opportunity to enjoy the view and capture memorable photos, as many visitors appreciate being able to take pictures of animals that are otherwise difficult to see. Milton was fantastic! He helped us see so many animals we would have completely missed on our own and taught us so much about them. He was great with our kids, very patient, and made the whole experience fun and engaging. We learned a ton and had an amazing time. Our guide Milton had a monocular so we could see the wildlife up close. He used our phones and helped take videos and photos of the wildlife up close for us to keep. Highly recommend! We had so much fun and loved this experience.
