Sheldon was great! He is very knowledgeable about Churchill and World War II. You can tell he enjoys doing the tour. Definitely recommend!
Our tour guide Andy was great! Very knowledgeable about not only the Churchill War Rooms but also WWII And bonus: he got his PhD in WWI! So we also got a very thorough understanding of the events that led up to WWII and the necessity of the Churchill War Rooms.
This was worth the money and Andy was so knowledgable! We learnt so much on this tour and highly recommend it.
Sean is exceptionally knowledgeable and is a dynamic guide who had us enthralled from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour!
Andrew is a wonderful guide and amazingly well-informed. Much of his knowledge was a bit over my 11-year-old’s head but he still kept him engaged. It was great to get more details and back stories than are covered in the typical audio tour.
If you enjoy World War 2 British history, this is a very nice tour. It said 2 1/2 hours but I think it was closer to 2 hours, which was perfect. Andy, our tour guide was very knowledgeable about British history.
It helps to have some knowledge about WWII and Churchill. There is a lot of information to cover We enjoyed the tour and Andy’s guidance.
Very long. Skipped a lot of the exhibits inside. Spent too much time outside. Our guide gave a little too much information.
Hi there. Sorry we didn’t give you what you wanted. We’d love a bit more information on what precisely you didn’t like, but we do have to spend some time outside to set the context for the war rooms. It makes more sense down there if we take that time. Regarding cost, we build the war rooms ticket cost in as well as paying a guide and paying for the platform here. Unfortunately that adds up, but it is how we can provide quality guides. As far as too much information goes, we’re history lovers. Too much information isn’t a phrase we use very often - the opposite in fact. Best wishes to you.
Our tour guide, Andy was extraordinary! So knowledgeable about Churchill, WW1 and WW2. He was extraordinary accommodating to us less mobile seniors. I highly recommend this tour.
Andy was our guide. He is very personable and knowledgeable with all aspects building up to ultimately the Churchill story and the war room. Andy's insider slant is refreshing and points out things most cannot capture in a self guided tour.
